Fact of the matter is Henderson should never have been given the contract that he was given. The midfield overhaul should have started two seasons ago. Never having replaced Wynaldum was the first mistake. Not refreshing the squad when we were on top was the second. Giving Henderson that contract was the third. But having done that it must be accepted that he wasn't going to be a starter this season, but we need bodies to compete over four tournaments. You are losing five players and bringing in three? Doesn't matter how much Ox or keita played. The fact is it is unrealistic so expect the midfield as it is now to compete on all fronts and that is what Liverpool does. Desperately short and still need at the least two more midfielders and a defender. Ideally it should be three midfielders. I would be not necessarily worried, but concerned about the lack of numbers in the middle

Liverpool at their peak had every man n their dog pressing and both Salah and Mane were consistently praised for their work off the ball. We greatly appreciate the work Jordan's put in over the the course of his Liverpool career but making it out that the system is all on him is absolute nonsense. Klopp's rebuilding and though Hendo was crucial in the past, he's not getting any younger and would've been naturally eased into the Milner role, picking up minutes here n there. We still have VVD, Ali and Robbo who are all leaders so I'm sure we'll be fine.
Enough players and enough cover. Mac Allister and Szoboszlai will offer more than Henderson and Fabinho.

I'm sure Klopp will be bricking it now that Rory Jennings doesn't approve of his actions. Well, first he'd have to look up who Rory Jennings is, and then after he'd stopped laughing, he'd probably have something to say.
Fact is, you need to listen to what Klopp said – we had all the right profiles – unfortunately, when we actually played, a lot of them didn't work for whatever reason. He also said "they have contracts" – meaning, if nobody wants to buy them, he can't force them to leave the club so that he can use the wages on a new player, can he?
We planned to lose Milner, Keita and Ox, and to send Carvalho on loan for experience. Brought in Szo and Mac and planned to bring in a Fabinho understudy. However, then we got a huge offer for Fabinho which he wanted to take, and Henderson also decided to flounce off to Saudi because Klopp told him he was going to be a squad player and not a regular starter. That wasn't planned on, and it means we'll enter the market.
Can't be helped. Klopp isn't going to promise to play Hendo every single game just so that he'll stick around. £40m for a 29 year old Fabinho who struggled last season is insane money and it made sense to take it. Klopp has always said that he will only keep players who actually want to be there, and Fab and Hendo have both decided they don't want to be.
Hendo is the one who's forcing through the move, not Liverpool. We didn't want to lose him and Klopp planned to keep him. He's decided to chase the money. If anyone's to blame, it's him.
It might be short term pain for long term gain. I'd rather get the rebuild out of the way whilst we're in the Europa League, to be honest. Don't want to be rocking up at Madrid with a side in transition, do we?

out of all the players that have left:
-Keita and Ox: awfully injury prone and never contributed with many minutes
-Milner: the man is 37 FFS…his minutes were declining ever since two seasons ago. And because of his age his performances were declining despite being an excellent professional(NGL if I could have kept him as a staff near Klopp I would have done so,but not as a player)
-Hendo: still contributing but heavily on the decline
-Fabinho: Had one bad season,maybe sold one year too early
-Firminio:Great option off the bench,but just as hendo heavily on the decline
Sooooo….yes,we have maybe lost a lot of leadership off the pitch and in the dressing room….but we need people to step up on the pitch and most of these players were not able anymore/won't be able to do it anymore in 1-2 seasons. I hope fsg don't screw Klopp and give him 2 more midfielders and one CB to finish the reconstruction.
Believe me when I say at the end of the year, when Liverpool have a very good season, he will then say it was a brilliant thing to do.
