      In Andre Onana Manchester United are getting a top goalkeeper who’s great at shot stopping and he makes so many excellent saves but fits the mold of how Erik ten Hag wants to play in this Manchester United team. He’s solid with the ball at his feet and he’s an overall upgrade on David de Gea and going to a club like Manchester United it’ll continue to elevate his career as one of the top goalkeepers in the world and is an great addition to the team.

      Lost a lot of respect for Rob for that take. Bruno captained United to 2 cup finals and 3rd in the prem after United’s worst season in history. And he chooses the Anfield game to disqualify him. Absolute nonsense.

      It’s worth nothing if they don’t get a proper number 9 who can back into players. Onana’s passing range had so much success because of Dzeko & Lukaku just being big bodies for him to aim at. Wout Weghorst would’ve actually been perfect but if United can land a striker who can do both, this will bring out the best Onana.

      Since bruno have signed for Manchester united only 2 players on the planet has over 60 goals and 60 assists and bruno is 1 of them. Not bad for a player that apparently goes missing 😏

      Guy on left is an idiot,varane captain choice when he’s injured a lot. Bringing up the loverpool game like if utd had a different captain the score would’ve been different. Bruno literally played all but one game in a 68 game season,work effort of always top of the charts and his stats are always high. Most creative player along with kdb. Media love to hate on certain players,especially when they have zero knowledge or stats or how they play. I’d say that clown watched maximum of 5-10 utd games all season

      If Bruno played for Liverpool or City, he wouldn't be getting half the criticism and Ale wouldn't have said 'a very good player', but 'a world class player' which he is. Idga fudge what any one says, Bruno is World class and the top 10 midfielders in the world.

      I agree with Varane being captain. The only thing is I don't know how long Varane will be there, plus his injury problems don't allow him to be on the field, but he's responsible and a serious individual.

      These idiots act like Bruno is gonna change completely who he is.. he was LITERALLY captain all last year.. he’s the hardest working player most consistent.. demands the best.. wants to be the best.. wants to win at any cost.. his team mates clearly like him and rate him.. it’s funny how some passion gets pundits frustrated with him

      You are pundits, its your job to talk nonsense. Bruno is a great captain. Complaining when your team is loosing isnt a problem. You know what is a problem? When your captain is Hayy Maguire and your mistakes are leading to direct goals and then hes blaming others. Maguire never took responsibility for his poor performances. With Bruno we have someone who is willing to speak up and argue with referees. Maguire was spineless. Very happy with this appointment. If Bruno is out of form then we need to give the arm band to the next leader. No room for passengers. Lead by example or not at all!

      United fans, with analysis like this, continue to diluted themselves. I'd like to remind people that United (DeGea) allowed 43 goals last year which was tied for the 3rd fewest allowed in the league (even with three batterings in which they gave up 17 goals in 3 games). They also led the league in clean sheets, finished 3rd in the table and came away with Silverware. All this while losing their top two CB for a period and their top CB (Martinez) for the last month and a half of the season. Their goalkeeping was not the problem, contrary to popular belief. The only reason their previous GK is no longer on the team is because the Manager wanted him gone. Not because he was a failure as a GK. The failure at the club was in scoring goals. United finished 8th in the league and score just two more than 10th place FULHAM. Folks are all giddy with this Onana signing even going so far as to think it will "transform the way United play" and now we will see TEN HAG football, whatever that is. United still have the personnel that is best suited for counter attacking football. Fernandes is not a possession type mid, he wants to get on the ball and ping it forward quickly. Rashford is not a good possession dribbler playing out on the wing and very few of the current players are super comfortable on the ball. United's 58 goals were the worst of the top 6 teams and some 36 goals behind City and 30 behind Arsenal. Strange how with those statistics, Ten Hag chose to get a midfielder first, a Goalkeeper second and as of end of July….still no striker. And the strikers that are being linked with the team is not a player like Kane, who for some reason they determined are way too difficult to even try to get, but young untested strikers like Hojland. Put it this way, the end of the season will determine if Onana is a "Massive upgrade to the GK position" as these pundits and United fans would have you believe. If United finish worse than 3rd in the league table, DO NOT finish in the top 3 in goals allowed and DO NOT win at least 1 piece of Silverware in the 23/24 season…….the "Massive upgraded to the GK position" will be subject to suspicion. To me, the first fix of this team should have been a top striker, Kane, and the remaining fixes could have it come either this year or next. Funny how United fans are not up in arms over the lack of urgency over getting an obvious player that can solve their immediate problem. When Pep took over City, he replaced Hart with Bravo and then Bravo with Ederson, in large part because he already had a top Striker in Aguero who was their before Pep. Replacing a goalkeeper with one who's good with their feet, without have the ability to score seems pointless.

      I must say the bias from the ESPN FC Crew towards Manchester United and Bruno fernandes is embarrassing. There are players who dont show half the leadership, team commitment and all that Bruno shows and they dont get half this stick. He's also ridiculously good at his craft
      Stewart Robson is an absolute bore. Same with Ale and the guy beside him (cant remember his name) just like his irrelevant career.
      Bruno almost single-handedly transformed this team yet they look for ways to beat him. In 4 years, he's arguably our mlst creative midfielder of all time. Paul Scholes literally said he's a much better player than he was.
      Bruno also doesn't go missing. He takes responsibility. Hounds referees and looks for an edge for his team (Tangibly and Intangibly).
      All great leaders did this or are we only cool with it when it's Tony Adams, Roy Keane, JT or Patrick Vieira?
      If any britiah player was as good as Bruno, I promise you Stewart robson and the guy beside ale would change their tune. I see th3 soft kids gloves they criticise Harry Maguire with.
      If Bruno was responsible (as captain) for the 7-0. He should be responsible for all the innumerable wins. What a flawed logic.
      What United need now is to win more trophies so these guys can learn to keep quiet more and more.
      Even when United win they are quite critical and subdued. It is embarrassing.
      As a United fan who stays objective (a lot). Espn needs to do better. It's embarrassing.

      United will miss De Gea by mid season. Just the right goalkeeper who will make Ten Haag get sacked. Got shipped back home from the World Cup for doing exactly what United brings him in for. Not fit to clean De Gea’s boots. Mark my words!!
