  1. I don’t think he’s cursed as much as he is immature. He blurts whatever pops in his head. Contradicts himself. Gives off the impression that he’s unstable and disloyal. Could’ve avoided all the hate if he had proper people in his corner telling him to shut up lol

  2. As a Belgian, he confuses me as well. Why does he do the things he does. The people who blamed him for the World Cup just didn't watch our matches, our lineups. It definitely was the Belgian federation of football and Martinez's awful choices.

He could have come back to Chelsea and try to work with Pochettino, but he burned the bridge way too early with them. If he's really going to Saudi Arabia, he can stay out of the NT and enjoy his semi-retirement.

  3. Yes the game is played with 11 players, but having romelu on the pitch is like a team having a red card the entire 90 minutes. I like lukaku he doesn't deserve to e majority of the hate he gets, but when you have 11 players on the pitch and the one guy in charge of scoring goals just misses the easiest chances it's really hard to win a game.

  4. lukaku reminds me of anelka a bit all time talents that people will look back on and say they could have achieved way more in their career if it wasn't for poor attitude

  5. Bruh, I think Lukaku might go down as the biggest con artist in football history.

No matter the year, no matter the club he’s at, no matter the club he’s linked with…there is always high expectations around his performance/impact as a player, and he always seems to disappoint.

We also seem to take whatever he says to heart despite him contradicting himself over and over again.

Why does this keep happening? Why is it we always get surprised when he stinks up a knockout game or a big final? Why is it that we always seem to forget this fact when the next big game or the following season comes around, and go back to thinking Lukaku will be THE player for whatever (new) team?

We’ve been duped! That’s why! Hoodwinked! Bamboozled! Led a stray!

I think it’s about time we stopped being shocked whenever Lacaca has a stinker and just accept that that’s his level. He was never that good, still isn’t that good, and will never be as good as his team and transfer fee history suggests.

  6. Cursed? Simply not that good. Put him against teams a level below him and he’s excellent. Put him against teams near the quality of his own and he vanishes.
