Seems like alot if money for a 28y/o Palhinha when we could get Thuram, Onana or Lavia for the same money or Alvarez for £10-15m less (so could probably get Sow or McTominey as well as Alvarez for Palhinha money).
Can we please stop talking about " premier league experience ". It must be the most overused and irrelevant phrase in football, especially where West Ham fans are concerned. Take a look at any top 10 lists of best midfielders, strikers or defenders in world football right now and see how many of them have no premier league experience or are too old, or both, and some fans would want to turn them down. Here are just a few: Bellingham, Messi, Mbappe, Benzema, Lewendowski, Kimmich Kroos, Gavi. Would you turn all them down?

I really hope this is not going to happen. Moyes worries me that he is so set in his ways. Why would you opt for someone who is aging for our already aged squad. Anything over £35-£40M is ludicrous for Palhinha. Who are we paying to scout these players? They needed moving on pronto. This would be half the Rice money wasted. Is Onana not available?

Why cant we buy Caicedo for 80m, we made the mistake when we wasted rio money.
