      Really looking forward to seeing how the defence rotates. Pete. Villa could be pushed by a heavy schedule if there's not enough proper bench strength but I'd love to see some cup runs. Unai knows what to do in cup competitions.

      These are fantastic siginings BUT nobody seeming to mention what to me is the NO 1 squad priority We are going to struggle to win anything next seasonn, a cup basically ,where we have to rotate the squad unless we upgrade our back up keeper Out of the whole squad its the area where ONE injury most weakens us, Olsen Is that much of a liability and the worse problem of all is that you can clearly see he gives the whole defnece the jitters too and indecisiveness starts to creep into them and their performance levels drop too

      I don't think that formation works without have at least 2 more flexible defenders because it means if one is injured we lose options quickly because the options are on the field.

      Torres just got married as well so with his new wife with him at B6 that will only enhance his persona as a Villan… his new wife will be the rock that steadies the ship… a magnificent acquisition for the club.

A Spanish Quarter was never a thing in Brum before but I bet it's burgeoning.The local corner shop owner in Sutton Coldfield is already writing off his milk purchases to sales balance as 'shithousery.' That's twenty selfies this month, Emi. I wonder if the Spanish speaking world are beginning to take an interest in Villa concerns.
      By the way, I was over in Donegal for a wedding with my father, a minority Donegal Villa fan as I am. My accent was a novelty. Anyway, a few of us peeled off and found a bar to watch the Liverpool v Villa game, nearly all Reds. Before long the happy couple and all and sundry joined us. Awesome craic and conversation afterwards-'A stunning ground.Were you working over there in the Highbury or Emirates era?'' Bit of both.' Etc, etc.

      Interesting thoughts on game intelligence and maths. I would lean more on the side of creativity combined with composure with a very high degree of intuition. At the he very top level its how you can change the pace of your pass, stride, shoulder movement that leaves other players in the dust.
