      Wtf if man utd signed him I will be furious . He is not that great in attack he is only good at defending but we have better option in defending in LB position as we have Brandon Williams he is beast at defending .

      I've read some of the more constructive, sensible comments below and there's a lot who seem quite underwhelmed by this fella. I can see that he doesn't have BLISTERING pace but I'd describe him with a phrase that never sounds complimentary, which is 'a ratter'.

      He's got a waspish nature – harassing the opposition and I think he's a tenacious & determined tackler. And that's what City need at LB / LWB, someone who can flippin' tackle, unlike Mendy, and thinks slightly more defensively on that flank – we have others in the team to do the more-attacking work.

      I get what someone said about him falling over a lot – I think the only concern for me is his seemingly lack of upper body strength; in that he seems to get bundled to the ground quite easily when tussling 1v1.

      I think I'd take nearly any decent left-back who has positional awareness and can tackle over Mendy any day or night. If fact, I'd take a training cone over Mendy and that's despite an-apparent "better" performence against Burnley last night – it couldn't have been worse than v Leicester…or most of his City career so far.

      As an argentinian who doesn`t like football and doesn`t know know nothing about football, and who is just checking the players of my national selection, I can only say, "meh"; no disrescpet to him tho´, He seems to be doing awesome, but compared to the rest of the players I don`t see nothing special
