The way El Alfy misses her free throws, she will fit in good with the current Huskies. I don’t understand what Geno saw in this gal.
Both teams seem uncoordinated, but Egypt seems more coordinated and bigger.
Jana El Alfy will be a long term project for UConn. She is very raw. From this viewing, it doesn't seem she has the athleticism to keep up with NCAA division 1 talent. Much less playing post for the University of Connecticut women's basketball team.
P.S. And the lady calling the game said Jana was in the talk for MVP. They lost in the final so she didn't get it. She is awesome. I believe she may start in the fall.
