Watch San Antonio play host to Sunderland AFC in a match up of two SAFCs. San Antonio fielded an academy team with a smattering of experience and Sunderland also played a fairly mixed team in the first game of their USA Pre-Season tour.
16yr old Chris Rigg opened the scoring by latching on to a perfect chip from Abdoullah Ba and there were other chances for him to score, before San Antonio talisman PC hit a stunning 50 yards free kick catching Patterson off his line.
However the first half close with Luis Semedo attacking the front post to force a second for Sunderland and the second half saw Sunderland bring on several skilful players who helped dominate the gave, although San Antonio nearly equalised in the final minutes, but for a last ditch tackle from Trai Hume.
Jewison Bennette rounded out the result in stoppage time with a solo goal, fine reward for his constant hard work down the right all night.

Brilliant as always, quite a lot of stand out performances, Ekwah was brilliant, but for me I would give it to He-man, new team, new country and looking good
Great content! I'm so excited about Ekwah next season. He will be really important for us to take control of the midfield if he can keep deilvering these performances on a consistent basis. By the way, where do you find the full 90 video?
Ekwah is a rich man's Kante. The last time I felt so optimistic about this team was just after borini made me dare to dream in the league cup final in 2014
I’m having to be careful I don’t run out of superlatives regarding your videos as we are only at the pre-season friendlies stage! You see things I miss but MOTD style graphics without the Shearer ‘ Captain Hindsight’ waffling are hugely appreciated. 😁 . Ok, surely Ekwah has to be a serious contender for the opening day of the season. , physicality and twinkle toes , fantastic. Lihadji seems to have read his bad press of late and wanted to prove otherwise . But my soft spot is pressed by Jewi who, after that lengthy injury, is showing brilliant determination and skill despite knowing he had tough competition in his preferred positions. Thanks again , I await your next offering with red and white anticipation .. 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️⭐️
