This is a no brainer, we need such a midfielder who's versatile enough to play CM and CDM just Incase we lose casemiro to injury or suspensions. Y'all know what happens when casemiro is absent 🤦
His partnership with casemiro would literally make united midfield concrete both offensively and defensively
He played under ten hag at utretch so am not ruling this one out.
He is an elite player that raises our biggest transitional weaknesses. He has defensive engine that is uinmatched, he leaves players for dead with his strength and ball retention whilst shielding the ball and forcing the opposition players to bounce off him. His short and long distribution is elite and he can shoot from long range and can't be beaten in the air. World class control and vision and an unmatched engine for 90 Minutes plus extra time as we saw in the WC on multiple occasions. He would be an absolute steal for £25-30M. But it makes too much sense so I fear it won't be happening 🙁 I would be dancing on the ceiling if we got him.
