Of all the players we have bought recently, I will be amazed if Kovacic isn't a success at City.
Maybe Gundo is better in the final third, but if you take all the different traits midfielders have, there isn't much to split them.
Overall, I hope to see him take Gundo's position more often than not, and expect him to play it very well.
He is a good player, but I don't highly rate him 😂😂😂

With the tour he put in during the WC, where Croatia went as deep as possible in terms of minutes demanded, it totally makes sense that Kovacic's form would have dipped at the end of the Premier League schedule. Must have also been quite a bit of emotional stress playing at Chelsea. There was so little positive news going down at Stamford Bridge. A Putin-sympathetic owner purged, the former Champions League winning manager bumping heads with the new owner, Tuchel eventually purged, poor Frank Lampard savaged by foolish expectations, and Christian Pulisic Drama; it would be damn hard to feel good about going to work with all that weighing down the club.
Manchester City are that good ATM that CFC fan's don't even see us as rivals. Because we are that much better than them? Wow! How amazing is that, seriously? Its hard to believe that the team that managed to "steal" the UCL from us only 25 months ago are now so far behind us. That's according to their fan's aswell.
