  1. Interesting coming here just after losing 2-1 to France in the 2022 World Cup Quarter Finals. We very nearly just one upped France, the previous World Cup Winners and put in a seriously impressive performance, which, thanks largely to Gareth Southgate, has now at least for me really restored faith in the ability of the English football team. So glad we’re finally here!! 🎉

  2. It's even more embarrassing to see the England nation rugby union team and the England national cricket team win their World Cups before the Three Lions win their second major tournament.

Hell, even the Three Lionesses beat the Three Lions to the punch for a major football title.

  3. Who'd have thought 5 years later, a Euros final, a World Cup Semi were we got 4th place (& played all 7 WC games when you include the 3rd place play offs) & another World Cup Quarter Final, and its not good enough for people. Ofc we want the win, the team is good enough to get the win, but Garath has done wonders for the team & the current squad is brimming with talent that gel very well together. Yeah he makes a few ridiculous mistake, substitutions in the French game for instance wtf, but overall, he's done very well

  4. This Hodgson era was the worst I’ve ever seen and I’m not the biggest fan of Southgate due to his failures but what he has done is build a side that we all believe in regardless, Roy’s dross was beyond words.

  5. The fa have always been conning us fans without question, the media puppets try and alienate the fans to the true extent of their deceitful blatant lies

  6. This defeat paved way for the greatest England team the world has seen in the past 30 years.

4th place finish in Russia 2018. I highly doubt any England squad in the future could beat that.

  7. I remember watching this in the pub with a friend. We were getting more and more annoyed with the England team as the match progressed. By the end, we were laughing our heads off at the ineptitude. Iceland and their fans were absolutely brilliant, and thoroughly deserved their historic win.
