If people are under the impression that Kovacic is slow. Absolutely NOT, he is as fast as KDB perhaps faster with the ball and is very strong defensively (physically) and technically gifted. The last of Crotian Maestros in the football world (previous generation along with Modric). So absolutely brilliant move.
As a Chelsea fan I'm glad. The only players I will miss are Kante and Mount. As much as I like Kovacic, tbh it didn't work out. I think he played a role when we won the CL and he was a decent player for us but it was frustrating watching him at times (Keep in mind, for Chelsea). I think Buvey is hyping him up way too much because he is now at City. To say that he came in the CL final and "ruled the midfield" when he was subbed on in the 80th minute is kinda wild. He is also 29 so I don't understand Buvey saying he that he is young and is yet to reach his prime.
As a united fan I’m diss appointed but not surprised. Chelsea demanding absurd amounts for mount but happy to let kova go for 30 shows how little respect clubs have for united transfer team.
