  1. From a Vancouver perspective:
    – Back in and allow dangerous attackers to shoot – check
    – Fail to show any offensive moxy in the most crucial game of the season – check
    – Miss the playoffs again and dump on a supportive fan base that is starting to shrink – check.
    Mission accomplished!

  2. ANOTHER poor MLS presentation !!!! Your team panel shows Minn as light blue and Van as black !!!! WHEREAS ….. it's Minn who are playing in black. NEVER ask why MLS has such a small following !!!!

  3. So much to unpack going into these playoffs. These last 8 games have shown how shallow this Loons team is. No Reynoso = no win. They played okay today when they had no choice but the defense is abysmal and they are likely a first round exit in Dallas.
I'll have to refresh myself on contracts but defense must be overhauled. Taylor, Kallman, Fisher, and Dibassy need to go. Only Boxall is good enough. Metanire, if he can stay healthy, is also good enough.

Next drop the dead weight like Arriaga and Hlongwane. Arriaga just doesn't have the cohesion and Hlongwanes' potential is wasted on a team that won't develop him and won't use his breakaway speed. He just doesn't fit with the Reynoso centric play style through the middle. I hope he finds a home in MLS though.

Finally, drop Amarilla. Hasn't been half as good as he needs to be when his only job is scoring goals. Too scared around the net and not talented enough in other areas to make up for it.

St Clair is a god send but I think to bolster spending money there is a case for finding a high bidder. His garbage defense did him no favors in the eye test this year but pure goalie stats his ceiling is still high and I do believe a pretty penny can be made to find an actual striker and some experienced defenders. Plus we have another MLS goalie as back up and a talented up and comer on the second team. With a better defense Tyler Miller will do fine.

Good luck in the playoffs Loonies and I'm happy to see all the support, but changes have to be made if we are to actually contend.
