Real Madrid moved on from Cristiano Ronaldo Man City moved on from David Silva and Yaya Toure Bayern moved on from Lahm but you’re telling me we can’t move on from Jordan Henderson?
For me Hendo and Fab should be our number six in rotation keeping them both fresh throughout the season, leaving the eight roles to the two new signings plus the young boys coming through… Hendo isn’t an eight looking to release the forwards as he’s first option (don’t mention that one pass you remember to Salah with the outside of the foot Vs Utd 👌🏾) Hendo is more of a possession and retention based player perfect for the six role (like he played before we brought Fab in).

Teams like City are ruthless. That’s why they are serial winners. Henderson doesn’t cut it anymore. He is the captain and done so much but it’s time to move on. Get a young DM and Fabinho to rotate and we are good.

The thing with Hendo is, Klopp wanted to keep Millie at 36 and He do is 33 and Klopp has not taken the captaincy from him, so for me Klopp sees Hendo as an important player

Ram is high output 2nd level striker starter Dom / Gakpo , Henderson is a sub. Currently full team 2 each tier of 3223, put Elliot 21st so he isn't even on the bench. 3223 the 2 am are high output 15+ g/a for the season. Trent is the new captain. Pl Henderson is a sub.. Hendo leadership got them the Europa league lol. 😅
Currently 19 players are better than hendo. Currently there are 10 possible mids. Stef is the 8th best, Henderson is the 9th best mid. Elliot 10th and he is 21st player not on the bench. there are currently 2 or more players in every position better than hendo. Left am is Mac/Jones. Ram hot side is Dom/ Gakpo. Gakpo is back up to Nunez and dom, jota the 3 top. Mac has jones . Trent has Thiago/ jones. Holding dm Fab, Stefan. Henderson is 3rd place at holding dm. Elliot is a better am.
3223 is permanent the starting formation ( klopp and pep aren't even shopping for fullbacks) its a non fullback system ( a defender could have fb capabilities but not required) . If Elliot passing Henderson he would be the 21st player not even make the bench. Understand? He can cheerleader like you from the stands. Fyi, Milli was the guy everyone admired not Henderson. Hes got a big head not that popular with the players as you think. Trent is!!

I'd snap Gerrard's arm off if he offered 30 million. Henderson is on the decline. Not getting rid of him is unprofessional. if Pep was the manager, Jordan Henderson would be out the door 100%. it's this feeling of "we ow our players loyalty" that is stopping us from reaching the next level. With Pep, if someone isn't good enough, he is out the door. sure, he got a bit sentimental about Aguero, but he still binned him. if that was Klopp Aguero would still be at Man city and so would Gundugan and Silva and all those.
getting money for a player you are gonna lose for free in 2 years 100% is value for money and we would be stupid not to take it.

Imo although you shouldn't need the captain on the pitch you can't have someone who is third choice in mid positions as your captain. Trent isn't a captain at all. It's time to freshen things up though.

Looks like thiago is off. With the new midfielders, it looks like henderson will be in the 6 role.
