  1. Gregg Berhalter did the bare minimum. I think when we expect better from our coach US haters or Berhalter simps assume that we view our team as a world class team.

Far from it we know that the US is not fit to win the World Cup but we do believe that this is the most talented team we ever had. The fact that most of them have played in the top clubs than the players we had before proves it. Despite this past season many of them have played in important games last year.

The World Cup is also going to be held in the US which means we are going to have home crowd advantage. A World Cup success is the perfect opportunity to make the game grow stronger.

GGG has not done things that other coaches have not done before. GGG got a tie against Mexico? So did Klinsman and Arena in the azteca with a far less talented Us team against a more talented Mexican side.
GGG got us third place to a World Cup on goal difference?

Arena took us first on goal difference and so did Bradley and Klinsmann qualify us to the World Cup in first place when Costa Rica and Honduras had better rosters.

GGG got us out a group stage? Arena got us out a group stage against host Korea and Portugal while also beating Mexico in R16. Bradley got us out in first place of the World Cup group stage with also getting a tie against England. Klinsman on the other hand got us out the group stage against Germany, Ronaldo’s Portugal, and Ghana an opponent that we had struggle in the past two world cups.

GGG played against one of the weakest netherlands we seen in years. Why yes I do feel the Netherlands we’re better than us. With a good coach we could have over perform and perhaps gone to quarters and lost to Argentina.

  2. At this point, the higher-ups are either too stupid to do their jobs or are being malicious and trying to deceive everyone that they care.
Regardless, having paid a "third party" to do their jobs just to end up in the same spot seems suspicious to me. Follow the money 🤷‍♂️

  3. The US Soccer Federation is the problem. They hired the outside firm to protect their butts from civil action from issues they caused by allowing favoritism, nepotism and the good ol boy system to run rampant in their organization.

  4. Imagine Brazil announcing they rehired their old manager right before kickoff against Argentina at the Copa America.
USSF knew how USMNT fans would react and hoped the Mexico game would serve as a distraction. 🤡 🤡 🤡

  5. The USMNT spent who knows how much money on a third party consultant just to re-hire the mediocre Berhalter. This coach who badly mishandled Reyna in the World Cup, limiting his minutes even though he was superior to more than half the roster. They could muster only 2 goals in the group stage, and looked like amateurs against the Netherlands playing right into their hands tactically. The USMNT leadership doesn’t give a sh**.

  6. USMNT will be irrelevant for as long as the people in charge keep making decisions like that. It’s like they purposely sabotaging themselves by staggering any signs of improvement. The way Mexico performed in that last game flattered US massively. US team has average players with too many of them still too immature in footballing sense and rehiring the same coach that had already shown that he can’t improve any of them is an extremely strange decision.

  7. Watching people laugh at us..again. And we wonder why people still don’t take us seriously after so many years. I was a kid in ‘94, and don’t be fooled by the highlights of stadiums filled with fans, there were so many more people who didn’t know or care about the World Cup, they didn’t even know we were in it. MLS was a joke and at times lucky to survive. And almost 30 years later people are still laughing at us and we think they’re just being “haters.” No Brazil has haters. France has haters. We actually give people reasons to think we’re not serious or inept and it’s stuff like this that keeps fueling the dumpster fire that has been the US men’s team for the bulk of the last 30 years.

One strong showing in 2002 and people think we’ve arrived. Pummeling teams (AT HOME) better countries beat on the regular and we think ourselves amazing. Someone came at me once with, “we’re in the FIFA top 30!” We were 30th, the bottom of the bunch, barely above the likes of Ireland, and that’s what we hang our hats on. So you know what? Go ahead and rehire Berhalter with his dream of a semifinal exit. We’ll aim for that star and hit the moon of getting out of the group with one of the best crops of players we’ve had in over a decade. And US Soccer will continue to convince the American Outlaws and their acolytes that this is how we will win a World Cup…there’s nothing behind the curtain, these are not the droids you are looking for. 🙄

  8. At this point we should have just appointed Anthony Hudson, he was an assistant to this group of players. I also feel that USSF don't want Greg managing the Gold Cup because they must feel that the US won't win I this year and they are are trying to protect him.

  9. I have a serious question and I've never seen an answer: How/Why is USSF in charge of the US National Teams? They weren't elected by the country. They weren't created by congress as far as I know. Everyone just seems to go along with it, and FIFA gives them legitimacy, but what is the actual legal basis by which they "rule" soccer in this country? And most importantly, what would it take to replace the organization?

  10. Craigs knows better if players want a coach to coach them. That's a good thing. I don like Gregg, yet I support the players wanting Gregg to coach them.

  11. They're not saying anything I haven't said, but it's fun watching Craig go off on the USSF.

The problem I have is bringing up Gio again. He was a petulant kid and apologized to the team. Berhalter has repeatedly acted a petulant kid and has never apologized, including for bringing up Reyna in public when it should have remained a locker room issue.

  12. This issue has “woke” written all over it.. The woke world and the people that cave in to the woke world, destroys everything! I retired from my job early because I was tired of dealing with these type of people and issues.

  13. USMNT need a better head coach. We have the quality to dominate CONCACAF and have a promising 2026 World Cup. Gregg doesn’t have the experience to lead the country to a whole other level. We need a experienced coach who has a winning mentality. This was the US chance to revolutionize soccer in America but they blew it by sticking to Gregg and the drama still being there.

  14. I think we should have gone with Jesse Marsch or someone else but don't downplay a win over Mexico. Yes, they are a weak side but historically weak sides in soccer will get up and play much better in rivalry matches. They played as hard as they could and got completely dismantled, don't downplay the importance of that win for USMNT.

  15. I could coach the USMNT & get the results Berhalter has gotten. Welcome to getting knocked 1st chance in Copa America & World Cup

  16. I honestly think they’re afraid to pay a manager top dollar because then the women team will yell sexism and how it’s unfair the Us gets a expensive manager. Calling it now US team will never be contending if they remain afraid to tell the women the truth

  17. Spot on Craig! The USSF lied to us the whole time and pretended they were lookin for a new manager when they planned to bring GB the whole time.

  18. Craig Burley you are the only one speaking out in the media. The american media have a culture of coddling this team. You are desperatley needed and 100 percent correct. The federation is destroying this team. Really what it comes down to is there is about 35 percent of the fanbase that knows, breaths, and bleeds the sport. Unforunatley the people in charge are those who do not know the sport. They are destroying thi team. Thank you for speaking out. Please keep going with it.

  19. Did anyone hear or see anything of US Soccer asking Cherundolo to coach the team? I didn’t see anyone in the comments mention that MLS is probably running the show? This is something that I keep hearing? Thoughts?

  20. Total clean out of all needs to happen!! Its a big scam n they knew what they were doing all along!!! All of us need to not go to anymore games n make it count in their pickets!! Im personally done with us soccer!! They just scammed us all n they need to have their butts kicked!! I love our players n a shame for them but they just lost alot of support!
No when Viera and Henry said they loved to coach usmnt so they could do better!! It was all a set up!!
