  1. Yeah like many had already mentioned here, one of the reasons Milan decided that they want him is that, besides the fact that they are losing Sandro Tonali and thus opening up a spot in the midfield perfectly fitting for Pulisic, he's still just 24 years old and have a chance to develop into something more. To echo Shaka, this might be his last chance to really be a top-level European league player and the sky is the limit for him. Don't be short-sighted.

  2. Landon isn't making any sense. Pulisic wasn't playing much at all leading into last world cup and his stats say he was one of the best attackers of the tournament. Also, you have a player who is good enough to compete in the Champions League and has a Champions League team who wants him and you're saying bring him to MLS? Very confusing.

  3. The next 18 months are crucial for him. 2026 may be 3 years away but if he's not playing in a year or not playing well then he'll need to reconsider his career.

  4. I wish sports commentators were as honest as LANDON DONOVAN LEGEND. He's simply without hurting US fanboys He's not European big 5 level. Cope with it.

  5. We should be encouraging players to get OUT of the MLS and test themselves overseas. Like what Pepi is doing with PSV. Pulisic has ambition and wants to compete on Europe's biggest stage, the UEFA Champions League.

  6. Landon Donovan couldn't cut it in Europe. Pulisic is struggling in Europe. The reason for this is because one was over-rated and the other is over-rated. There are American players out there who are better than Pulisic who don't get any attention because they don't fit the profile. Talent is Talent. The sooner the Americans realize this, the better they will get in "soccer".

  7. This is one of reasons I put Dempsey above Donovan. Landon ran back, with his tail between his legs, to be a big fish in a small pond. Clint stayed, worked hard, and even became the captain of an EPL team.

  8. Donovan trying to justify his decision to play in MLS after he couldn't cut it in Europe. Just bc you were best player in US at time, bc quality of US was much lower(check rosters of WC Clubs and amount players in Europe)…..you blew your chance to be the Man in US Soccer by runnning; I consider Dempsey more influential and important than you…..another Freddie Edu who went a little further

  9. Pulisic will get found out at Milan… and then eventually in the MLS once he becomes a bench merchant in Europe.

  10. Donovan is exactly what is wrong with American Soccer. They have a low expectation mentality. Status Quo. Donovan needs to be in Europe playing against the best in the world. The best in the world are NOT in the MLS. Just because Messi is now playing in the MLS does not mean that changes anything. Messi would NEVER have played anywhere other than Europe during his prime years (20-35). Donovan was too much of a baby to stay in Europe, so he ran home. There is a reason why the US has been stagnated for 30 years. They keep doing the same things over and over. There is no reason they should not be a world power in soccer. They have a large population, lots of resources and money. The world looks down at the US because of this mentality and lack of vision particularly when all of them (non-soccer powers) would love to have all the resources the US has so they can improve their teams to that level.

  11. Landon Donovan is the most vain human ever. “Hey Christian, go to mls so my legacy isn’t beaten any worse than it already is”

    What a clown

  12. If the USMNT are relying on Pulusic for glory then they are barking up the wrong tree. He has done zero at club level in terms of leadership and being a player the team can rely on. It takes more than Flashes of potential to be considered at the same level as the likes of donovan and dempsey. Same can be said for Timothy Weah and the mummies boy Reyna.

  13. Landon Donovan's problem is not that Christian Pulisic should come back to the MLS, it's because he couldn't hack it overseas. Christian Pulisic has the ability to be a top player in the top 5 leagues in the world. MLS is not a good league and his development would only get worse!!!!!!

  14. Sure send him back to the mls so he can regress. He needs game time against the best. He’ll get that in Milan. No chance playing for Austin fc or galaxy. Donovan is high on his on supply

  15. Pulisic is an overrated player. He’s at best a mid-level bench/squad player for most top Euro clubs. Maybe not a popular opinion but I don’t see how that’s being better than MLS.

He doesn’t play often enough & is hurt too often. Couldn’t even make it out of WC22 without picking up an injury.

And yes, Donovan is better than Pulisic.

  16. Landon Donovan never made the choice to return to the MLS from Everton. He was lighting it up there and campaigned to stay, btu the MLS held his contract.

  17. I disagree with Donovan. As Pulisic still wants to play in high level of soccer, it would be a stupid decision for him to move to MLS right now. However, he might end up moving back home after the 2026 world cup. Just wait and see.

  18. Some of these guys in charge or working with the MLS are just pure delusional trying to make out it’s bigger then it is, they’re gonna have to face the fact that no continent will ever compete with Europe with football, it just is what it is, no country will ever be bigger for other sports too, like basketball for the US.

  19. All respect I had for Donovan's "career" just vanished. Donovan should try letting Pulisic make his own career decisions without his input. The guy chose to not compete at the highest level and acts as if his leading the league annually in goals for the MLS is an accomplishment.

  20. Not only is going to the MLS a massive step down, but the US is never gonna win the World Cup anyway, so why focus so hard on that tournament to begin with, AC Milan was a perfect move for the youngin

  21. This man in female dress digusts your followers. It's disgusting to see and hear his voice but no offense to the man, he's a human being too

  22. If he doesn’t find his form soon he will be back in the MLS. He frail and often injured. When he did play for Chelsea he was a non factor most games. He’s not overly fast or quick but his main issue when he’s healthy is he can’t finish when he gets his opportunities.
