FINALLY Celtic are scouting and running the club in the correct manor! Signing not just young players, but TOP young players and bringing them to Scotland and handing them 5 year-deals!
If you look at these youngsters they are all very special!
Odin Thiago Holm 🇳🇴 was the star man for Vålerenga and his manager described him as the best player in the Norwegian Eliteserien! This boy has a huge future in the game and now he’s signed for Glasgow Celtic on a 5 year-deal!
Marco Tilio 🇦🇺 was absolutely pivotal for the Aussie champions Melbourne City, and everyone I’ve seen who follows Australian football seems to say this boy was arguably the most exciting talent in the league! Again, he’s now signed for Celtic on a 5 year-deal!
Fabian Rieder 🇨🇭 is rumoured to break our transfer record by SEVEN MILLION in order to sign him! On ‘Transfermarkt’ he’s the most valuable player in the whole of the Swiss Super League, valued at €15M (with second a good bit behind at €10M). That tells you how highly he’s rated. Guess what, it looks like Celtic are going to pull out all the stops to sign him!
Ardon Jashari 🇨🇭 is the third most valuable player in the Swiss Super League valued at €7.5M, even younger at only 20 years-old! ANOTHER top young player Celtic are looking at!
Then finally, we have my personal favourite… Carlos Broges 🇵🇹 the absolute cream of the crop in the MANCHESTER CITY academy, with Celtic rumoured to be very interested at TEN MILLION POUNDS! Wow. 32 G/A in 24 appearances for Man City in the PL2 last season as well as the POTY for the entire league! Only 19 years-old as well!
That’s FIVE players we’re said to be looking at and ALL 21 years-old or younger and all TOP players in their respective leagues/countries!
This isn’t what we’ve become accustomed to from Glasgow Celtic, it’s what we’ve become accustomed to from the likes of Ajax, Benfica, Porto, RB Salzburg, Club Brugge and even more than what Feyenoord have ever done!
I cannot say a big enough thank you to Celtic for progressing the club in this manner and as long as we keep it up we’re on a totally new trajectory!

A Keeper has to be a priority, we can't afford to get that wrong again. As much as I love Hart and what he brought to the club, he's at that point in his career where we need to be succession planning.

I do want a top left back but this tierney rumor doesnt sit well with me. Totally unfare on Taylor who has been superb and finally made the LB slot his own. GK F Forster also rumoured again. He is good mates wih Hart but its very unfare to bring in 2 lads our current player know so well if they lose their place in the team to them. For a long time Taylor was asked KT questions and fans often compared them both and when hart signed he was constantly asked about forster. I hope we sign different players to avoid a rift but this talk of Holding from Arsenal is exciting. The boys a great CB with potential to be even better. HH

Broges is the clear best option. For 11m, he will jump at the chance for CL.
Get realistic. Chances are they still have to pay benfica the remainder of original transfer as most clubs pay in installments then there's benficas sell on fee nearly a third of final sale then agents fees and Jota himself gets a percentage so overall profit is probably £8 mill still not a bad return and don't forget the taxman gets his cut if the profit but its not £25 mill in the bank as most seem too think
Kings Kangwa, Xavier Mbuyamba, Vinicius Zouza, Emanuel Emegha, Carlos Borges, Amadou Dante, Fabian Rieder, Fausto Vera, Ardon Jashari, Yang Hyun-jun, Eom Ji-sung, Ryotaro Ito, Kuryu Matsuki, Keito Nakamura, Zion Suzuki, Supachock Sarachat, are all options I'd be looking at for the near / potential future. J-League and K-League are still largely an untapped market with huge potential, better quality than the SPFL too. Also a lot of hidden gems within the French and MLS markets too. Rodgers has said he will continue to maintain focus and scouting within those leagues which is great news. Look at the likes of Kyogo, Reo, Daizen, Mooy and the success they brought.
Liam Scales should be loaned again and see how he progresses, too good to sign off just yet but would be fighting for a place in the XI. There were a couple of other players from the Liverpool and Leicester squads but unsure who they were. Also that AEK Athens player too. I have faith in Rodgers, he came back for a reason – to win.
