At a time when the peek a boo style was seen as an enigma, Mike Tyson’s insane battle with Lennox Lewis proved that one talented champion had cracked the code.

  1. Tyson ducked Lewis his whole prime, that’s why Tyson didn’t compete in the ‘88 Olympics, he knew Lewis had him beat.

  2. Cement blocks, not “cement bricks”. Concrete blocks are made from cement, bricks are made from Lime, Sand, Iron Oxide, and Magnesia.

  3. Listen you casual, Lewis fought a out of shape/unprepared/divorced/jailed/mentally unstable Mike Tyson. To say Lewis/evander fought a in peak shape is a joke….

  4. Omg sowas dummes kann nur in der heutigen Zeit kommen von den dümmsten Menschen die je gelebt haben Tyson war schon lange nicht mehr in seiner Form und zu alt was labert ihr da ? 😡wie Dumm kann man denn sein

  5. Bs mike was on medication when he fought Lennox Lewis they told him either take medication or no fight and that's right after he bit Evander Holyfield ear off

  6. Right that does it! Fight night champion is going on and I'm getting Lewis. Everybody always goes overpowered Tyson. I bet I still get ko'd.

  7. Tyson's execution of the Peek-a-boo style had declined by the time he fought Lewis. look at the early years of Tyson's career: His footwork was much faster, agile, and in sync with his opponents' movement. That changed by the time he fought Lewis.

  8. If one really observe Lewis's style, he will always clinch the opponent when things goes bad for him…this is v bad..He clinched Tyson whenever Tyson scored him..this clinching saps the energy of the opponent..all his fights he will clinch it when things goes bad for him..this is the only tactic he wins..sure enough Tyson is a neat and clean boxer..in Holyfield fight, Holyfield head butted so much in both the fights.. there was nothing Tyson could do..Tyson is an unparallel boxer ..once in a lifetime.. in his prime in headbuts and clinching is not allowed he would always be the unbeatable…

  9. That leaning $hit Lewis pulled may have been effective but was a bit dirty. He definitely should've been penalized more than he was during his many fights. No doubt he was great, but that was a purely dirty tactic.

  10. i stg tyson is the most protected champ of all time lol, so many people defending tyson and saying he wasn’t in his prime like lewis wasn’t also an old man out of his physical prime

  11. I remember this well. I wanted Lewis to win because Tyson was being a dick. But when Tyson hit the canvas I knew that he was done and I realised how much I was going to miss him. In that moment I completely switched and became very upset that he lost. Boxing is funny like that

  12. I know it's already been said, but Lennox didn't beat Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson lost everything that made him feared over 10 years before they fought. Tyson hadn't utilised the peekaboo style for nearly a decade and was just a forward walking single puncher with absolutely no head movement.

  13. He kept him away with jabs and whenever he managed to come close he used the right Uper cut. It's great tactic against shorter opponents.

  14. Mike was never the same after prison. Don King, the loss of his mentor both leading to an out of control life and finances. If Mike was in a sport where there were whole seasons it may have been easier to handle. Dude is still the youngest heavyweight champ of all time if I’m not mistaken. If D’Amato would have lived, Mike’s story would have went way different. Even with all that, still one of the most impressive heavyweights of all time. Him and Roy Jones are still my favorite boxers. Ali was one of the smartest and greatest, but those guys are my favorites.
