Learning to press handstand can be a frustrating journey. Looking effortless for some and feel near impossible to others. Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy answer to unlocking the press because so many variables are at play. Fortunately, we can manipulate those variables and make a press more mechanically advantageous, and therefore much easier.

  1. I don't know if you will see this but here goes, I would really like to be able to handstand I've been doing the wall trick and I can hold for a minute but I'm afraid to try it without the wall can you help me out?

  2. You brought up active flexibility so can you please make a video on how to do a controlled side kick that can be lifted vertically 180 degrees?

  3. Where is the part two? 🤔 And can you please make a very detailed tutorial on how to do a roundoff to really get off that ground? Please make more videos more often. I watch sooooo many tutorials and none of them are nearly as good as yours!! 😍

  4. Super location. Nice to see Simon with you. And, as always, terrific breakdown of the movement with cues and great graphics of the movement physics.

  5. That was super helpful. I found out, that I dont lean forward enough…so I will start to build strengh there 👍🏼

  6. This is literally gold! I got my straddle press before I've seen this video and I had to learn all of this the hard way… This really nails down everything there is to know! I think one of the trickiest part for me was to pass from shoulder leaning forward in the bottom to shoulders stacked on the hands when you reach the straddle handstand

  7. I think i had the power before but i was not realizing the mechanics of this whole thing. I was stuck years ago only to handstand and now after two dy after watching the video i make this move without efforts.

  8. Just got introduced to your channel. The quality of videos are great. Explanations on anatomy, the why's and how's are crystal clear and in depth. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and keep on going.
