The Inter Keeper has been widely plauded by many in world football due to his ability to not only shine in the traditional goalkeeping areas, but also his on the ball abilities. United’s current problem at the moment is that Ten Hag cannot fully implement his play style, and that is because De Gea cannot play football! I think if Onana comes then DG will be asked to help him become the new number 1 for next year. DG doesn’t have to do that – he should do what’s right for him. He has earnt this and is a legend at united. The GK post is the most loneliest position at Man U. And DG has done it for 12 years. He is a hero!

Think about where we were this time last year.
We had finished the season loosing to Palace, a dreadful match.
Eric had just arrived, we were just hoping we didn't embarrass ourselves in the first season of what we all knew was going to be the start of a challenging rebuild.
Fast forward a year, we won a cup and we finished third, without a functioning striker. Oh, we also beat the unbeaten record at home.
We know we have the right manager, trust him, he knows what he is doing.
Top four again would be nice but building the squad for a title challenge in the future is the goal.

For me, with the budget we have and the prices being quoted I'd rather spend 40m on Raya than 50m on Onana. Raya has PL experience, is great with his feet and a brill shot stopper
I'm excited by the idea of Onana, David has been a great servant and had a lot of good seasons he can leave with his head high and still popular with fans but his distribution in particular has been hurting us a lot IMO and it's time to get a keeper who can play ten Hag's style of football.
