Alexi lalas when it comes to US soccer, and MLS the man toe the line. I don't believe he is able to independently articulate an opinion.
Alexi stop with this nonsense. There's a reason they broke the news in the middle of the game, so people would be distracted, and made the official announcement on Friday, so the story would cool down over the weekend. Like all rhe politicians do when they make unfavorable laws.
You know there is corruption. It is absolutely sad that you cannot have an independent opinion on this matter.
Lots of dumping on Lalas for being a shill. Of course he is, but because he works for FOX , and FOX has a vested interest in the USMNT, it is his job to toe the party line.
I agree with Alexi.
USMNT needs to go after world class level coaches. If smaller countries with less money can land coaches, then we need to be able to do that too or get executives who know how to do that.
Gregg may be the coach that best fit the criteria that the USSF had for the position, but not knowing what the criteria was it's hard for people who've watched this team over the past 3+ years to believe it. Unless USSF intentionally crafted the criteria to put Gregg as a finalist….which I wouldn't put past them.
I'll give him through the Copa America next summer to see if he's learned his lesson and adjusted his system & coaching to align with our player pool. However, if he continues to call in players like Long, Roldan, Yedlin, Arriola, Acosta during FIFA Windows to be part of the First Team than I will join the masses calling for his immediate termination along with the firing of all the USSF Sr. Leadership members.
I want what Alexi sniff on… It seems to work wonder.

Dude ranting about entitlement but imagine having a past domestic violence incident come out and turns out you get to keep your job and get a raise while you had people help cover up what you did for years and it’s ok because it happened years ago….privileged at its best

That’s all fine & good & all but the fact is we don’t see ANY OF these ideas & adjustments if Gregg was still coaching this team… that should be very alarming. Means this team has even more potential that remains untapped because of manager decisions. You can’t dispute this now. So how in your right mind could you think Gregg is the right man for the job? Not to mention I think Gregg will change the vibe & confidence overall of this team by returning & it won’t be for the better unfortunately. This team played hungry, this team played alive & rejuvenated, this team played confident. Also we had a dangerous central attack with a player Gregg doesn’t like with an idea Gregg has never tried so once again why is Gregg the right man for this job?
Whoever is coaching better do something different than playing the 4-3-3. We cannot compete with the best teams in the world playing the same way they do.
