I feel very sorry for Soucek as he was asked to play as a passing defensive mid and it's does not help him. Just re-watch is first season with us and it's a totally different role.
I really don't care about Pacqueta not always tracking back and going over easy. How many of the best skillful players do these things? I've actually been surprised by how much he gets stuck in more than most of players similar to him. It's actually one of my pet peeves of how everyone on the pitch has to do defensive work.
Said it before, I will say it again… We are headed into a horrendous transition season, losing key players left, right and center. We should be getting rid of Moyes too and bringing in a manager who can successfully replace the players that look like going, keep us up next season because I cannot see Moyes doing it, and build a squad that can function as a team for the future!
I'm so worried that scamacca will leave cos that lad can play, and we aren't getting the best out of him for sure but he'll get us 20 goals if we get it right, I rate him that highly
Geo, so its looking like 90% of the squad are leaving…. Rumours or not…. Where are the rumours of us getting replacements? Its all well and good saying oh we need the Rice money before we buy in…. Sure, but where are the rumours about OUR new signings?
PSG are losing Messi in a few days and naturally they will be looking for someone to create that spark and open defences.
If you lose a argy but cannot see a replacement in argentina, then its a quick glance towards brazil. Hence PSG will consider Paqueta…..but alongside a load of other players as well from around the world. They also need to plan for losing Mbappe (refused to sign a new deal) and Neymar's future is always up in the air.
Geo is probably right about the new agents and improving his contract. It maybe sensible to get it done asap, but whu must insist on a release fee to get it (to protect us…£100 mill or £120 mill…he will rise in value) in return for a large pay rise.
Kehrer is vital to keep morale in the squad, after losing Declan. He looks so much better now he has settled into the club….i am surprised his family are not with him. We need to keep both players and only let the slow oap's or squad members not upto standard to leave……we are not rolling in cash (thats a lie….we have plenty) available to spend due to FFP rules.

Like kehrer from the start he was a bit unfortunate early season. He is quality… And he looks like a leader, vocal on the pitch too
I think potentially Paqueta will have a mega season. But he will move on because of the chance to play in the Champions League big team will get him
Rice replacement has to be a big character not just a great midfielder and he has to accommodate Paqueta
I have a funny feeling Kehrer will move into midfield and play in rice's position as he is great going forward and good in defence and its the idea position for him

Lucus Paqueta is leaving he is bigger than West Ham. He never wanted to go to West ham he wanted Newcastle United, was that FFP stopped NEwcastle for bidding for Lucus Paqueta. He would leave in a heart beat if he had the choice.
