Steven Gerrard seems to be rising to the top of a lot of speculation, with people from inside the game claiming to hear whispers about an interest in the Wednesday job. Would it be a good move?

Maybe I’m not sure
I don't think he would come but your comments about his contacts are undervalued. I do not know anyone we are linked to who comes close and would improve us so quickly.
Terrible move, the guy is clueless.
I didn’t want this until we got the news he turned down the Saudi job 😂 it’s like when you don’t want something until someone else wants that thing
I would have anyone in front of Ince
I hear Dean Smith has signed with us to be new manager. Not a bad signing that tbf.
Praying for Campelos.
Remember how we felt when Steve Bruce snuck off. Well, that's what stevie G did to Rangers.
Only trouble with Gerrard is as soon as he got a bit of success he'd be off
Gerrard for me, imagine the connections in the game this guy has, he did good at Rangers and is a good guy too.
My second choice is Dean Smith.
Not for me, he'd just use the club as a stepping stone like Steve Bruce did
Oh please Gerrard, as a Sheff U fan, that's great. Good luck next year.
It would be an interesting appointment, I wouldn't be disappointed, I'd be intrigued. It would be a good move for him, and somewhat of a make-or-break move. He has it all to prove.
One thing that set my estimation of Gerrard back, during his first press conference when he joined Villa, he used the word "pacific" instead of the word "specific". That surprised me.
It wasn't like he misspoke, it seemed he thought that was the way the word is said. Maybe a football manager doesn't necessarily have to be smart, but I think the best ones are smart. And is it possible to be smart and make a mistake like that as an adult English speaker?
Not for me. Dean Smith would be a better choice. IMO
1 Trophy , in 9 atempts at rangers Dean Smith spent Grealish money , he got in some good players at Villa, just his tactics and coaching without Beale, Man management shocking, players n staff hated him at villa, off the pitch to was aloof n distant to fans I've heard , since he left they started winning
Gérard stepping stone for what ?.he has to prove himself at his next club over a period of time get Wednesday promoted then have some top season's after that like win something or get European football if that was the case I'm sure Wednesday fans would not be complaining , the Liverpool job is a pipe dream for him, more like Brian Robson at Boro then Sheffield United then Bradford or whatever , he just won't be good enough just my opinion , no Mick Beal Either to hold his hand
