Remo Freuler (German Remo Freuler; born April 15, 1992, Ennenda) is a Swiss footballer, midfielder of the Atalanta club and the Swiss national team.
Pupil of the youth team “Ginville”, with which he moved to the Academy “Winterthur” in 2005. In 2010, Freuler made his Winterthur first-team debut at the age of 18, replacing in two Swiss Second Division games at the end of the 2009/10 season.
In the summer of 2010 he moved to Grasshopper, where he spent most of the season playing for the backup team. Nevertheless, in that season with the club, he made his debut in the Super League, but did not become a main player, which is why in February 2012 he returned to his native Winterthur, where he spent the next two years in the second division of the country, being one of the the main players of the club.
His performance for the last team attracted the attention of the Lucerne coaching staff, which he joined in February 2014. He played for the Lucerne team for the next two seasons of his playing career. Most of his time with Lucerne was the main player of the team and played a total of 63 games in the Super League, scoring nine goals.
On January 19, 2016 he moved to the Italian Atalanta, having signed a contract by the end of June 2019. He made his debut for the new club on 7 February 2016 at home against Empoli (0-0) in Serie A.
