I feel bad for saying this but it really needs to be said. Craig Burley saying he would have personally papered over cracks in the midfield and prioritized a striker is the reason why he’s a pundit, and not a manager somewhere winning trophies.
The fact that we got Mount and are chasing Onana means Ten Hag might be resigned to considering Greenword to be a part of his team going forward. Whether he should even be considered for team is another matter. But at the end of the day, this boils down to the mismanagement of United under the Glazers. This happens all the time to every manager.
Whatever United does,these guys will always say otherwise we used.the pain of their playing days is still fresh. Window just opened guys!!!

I totally disagree with Craig's take. Mount has a high work rate, maybe he isn't a typical midfielder, but the dude is clinical in front of goal and makes United a deeper squad
Kane has never scored a goal in his career to win spurs a trophy. Spurs have been in positions to win trophys but kane was no where to be seen.
It's like the pundits do not research??
Also Craig we don’t need to spend our whole summer budget on Kane. If Kane was that amazing and could impact a team to win a trophy why couldn’t he done that at spurs ? There are great players around the world and we can get those for €60M max.

Mount is obviously an Eriksen replacement whose skill in undoubted but his legs aren't the best
I don’t like listening to such lazy punditry because they don’t think about the playing style, saying mount won’t fit in is madness erick ten hag wouldn’t go for him if he didn’t want him and know he will do the job.

Agree 💯 with Craig and I’m not even a United fan. Mount is not going to mKe much of a difference. 60 million and 300K a week is crazy. ETH’s eye for talent has been suspect so far.

Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are Manchester United strikers mark my words. No need for a Harry Kane, Oshimen or Højund really. Also people don't realize Mason Mount and Jadon Sancho will be a team up that people will learn to fear.
Very very lazy reporting Craig acting like it’s instead of a striker while hoijland talks are commencing just seems like he is trying to cause drama where there is none. United have signed the same amount of players as Liverpool and Newcastle we are only two weeks into the window totally lazy biased reporting expect better
