      Greg needs to think like BJ did against Jamaica. The first half was ok- no fire, no passion, some flailing. The second half- BJ moved the pieces and found the combination. Was much better- granted, some of that was desperation, but the adjustments worked. Greg is very headstrong and doesn't want to be seen as weak or manipulatable.

      1) the coach should be limited to one cycle, unless he/she significantly over performs current expectations and actually wins the World Cup, 2) the coach should be fully committed to the professional development of our best players, not necessarily only the ones he gets along best with; 3) system coaches usually don’t do well with national teams so it would reassure me over if he/she showed tactical flexibility 4:07 .

      He has to approach the current cycle as if he is humiliated by the 3rd place World Cup qualifying finish and failing to give the Dutch a game in the round of sixteen to win me over. All of the changes we all want will come if this is the approach.

      Refuse the MLS quota.. Bring Brooks in. Develop a system that takes advantage of our top players qualities and begin taking accountability…. I honestly doubt that he will do any of these things .🤷

      For me, I don’t care about anything but the results. Once we’ve won a World Cup we can care about the aesthetics and whatever. Till then, he’s won me over if he’s won

      We need a coach that knows about International Football and has experience in World Cup not a basic local Coach nothing no anything

      If Gregg has an MMA midfield in the next friendly with Reyna on the bench as a backup winger, it'll most likely be the same old, same old.

      1. Be tactically flexible to put players in their best positions

      2. Play combinations of either the best players and/or the best potential young players depending on the need – win now vs. future development

      3. Make everything about the team (not the self)

      4. Have better instincts to make the right subs at the right time.

      Basically be BJ during the nations league. On second thought (I never thought I would say this when we were doing our “worldwide search with unlimited resources”) but I would rather have BJ as the coach, is it too late to hire him?

      Minus resignation it would be to not call up anymore older mls players. The pool of talent we have u-25, both in the mls and internationally, to never have to suffer another roster like the last wc. Even if all that’s done, he’s lost the locker room. No one will ever trust him again at the basic and core level. Reynas were wrong for what they did. Ggg was equally as wrong for spilling locker talk. As an ex player that’s a ledge you can never come back from.

      Here is my list:
      1) – No more MLS lifers
      2) – Different Formations (even if they struggle) to at least show something different
      3) – Gio Reyna Central
      4) – COPA America Semi-finals or more.

      Serious question: do you think he even watches or studies European games, as a result our players? His selections and management doesn’t scream knowledge of the international experience. Btw, Pepi is a poacher. Wait, he wasn’t in the last wc.
