  1. 9:30 Was good that you covered this bit, and you're definitely right that all clubs should absolutely have the necessary measures in place. My issue is that (from very limited knowledge) even in a best case treatment scenario, the chances of surviving cardiac arrest are like 70%. Throw in the trauma that it creates for family and team mates and it quickly feels like we just shouldn't be accepting a scenario where those measures are more likely to be needed tbh

  2. If doctors think he's healthy enough then he's good to go. Spurs fans were divided on this…but I'm in the half that wants him back

  3. Daley Blind plays with a pacemaker and Eriksen himself said that every doctor he’s spoken with has given him a full go. So I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to play.

  4. The only thing with Eriksen that worries me is he gonna be able physically speaking for premier League football, mainly because of the fixtures are scheduled, but Eriksen is still Eriksen, he'll still be technically fantastic, overall it will a godly signing for them and the fact he's a Dane just makes sense imo, Brentford love a Danish signing, and I'm sure Brentford's scouts know exactly what they'll get, they have a good track record of making very smart signings, they'll know what they're getting

  5. I really hope this happens. It adds to the romantic theatrical side of football.

Plus, I've enjoyed seeing Brentford in the PL and I'd love for them to add more quality to their team.

  6. If an independent Doctor and team Doctor clear him and he wants to play he should. I'm sure wherever he goes they will have someone very near and knows about his situation. Nobody is going to force Eriksen to play if he doesn't feel healthy enough.

  7. Congrats on the 150k Jim. There's millions of slugs out there just waiting to discover you and click that subscribe button. Best football content on YouTube.

  8. As a brentford fan I think this would be an amazing signing. It's a perfect fit for both club and player if he's willing to take a hefty pay cut for 6 months. I'm not too concerned with the morality of it. He would have to pass medical examination, consultation with UK cardiologist etc. I trust our medical professionals to know if it's safe, and Daley Blind is a great example of someone who has continued their career with the same device fitted. Crossing my fingers that it happens but does feel a far reach for little old brentford!

  9. It’s great to see Eriksen back but with what happened to him is it really safe for him to be back in the prem with the intensity of the league ? Fair play to the man he has the balls to get back in there but after what I seen on that day I just worry for him

  10. It should be his decision if he wants to play. I’m sure he’s been properly advised on the risks, but he’s his own man and so he should be able to do what he wants. Good luck to him, whatever he chooses! It would be great to see him play again though, he’s a brilliant player

  11. It seems 2 be a good move but I hope he isn’t rushed back into it idk a lot abt what happened and it’s affects I just hope he can get back to his best before retiring

  12. I'm not sure the prem is the league for him to make a comeback, its the most intense high pace league out of the top 5 . Maybe France would be easier to start

  13. Christian Eriksen has always been my favorite player since childhood, I’ve always based my playing style on him and I adored everything he did on the pitch. I literally cried a lot when he collapsed at the world cup. It would be a dream to see him make a recovery in the premier league❤️

  14. Well blind does play with a pacemaker, and he has been cleared by doctors to play with the pacemaker, and both him and his wife has said they both want Christian to play again. So I guess there won't be a dilemma for the club imo, but they should have regular checkups on him

  15. Eriksen's childhood dream is playing in Spain, he has since the age of 17 been taking spanish language classes. He was on his way, but Daniel "fucking cunt" Levy forced him out and he had to settle with a move to Inter, a team that plays 3-5-2 and didnt really fit him. He doesnt fit with Brentford and a 3-5-2 and plays his best in a nr 10 position in a 4-3-3.

His best hope is that Barcelona offloads some expensive players like dembele, cus he would fit the mold of the club and style of play.

  16. Good video, thanks! I can't wait to see where he end up. As a Dane i really hope to see him well and fit again, he is a great player when he is in the right team.

  17. This is one of the hardest transfers to predict in terms of success. I have followed Brentford and they havn´t exactly played well lately, lots of players who simply aren´t good enough and apparently rode on spirits in the early days. Too many mistakes, too many easy clearings not finding a teammate and I doubt that playing two strikers is currently helping Brentford, they need more working guys in the midfield. Brentford certainly cant play with 2 upfront and Eriksen supplying, that´s 3 players who will often fail to support their defence in transition periods.

  18. The ICD unit he got installed is literally gonna prevent him from suffering another cardiac arrest. Every doctor he has consulted has told him it's fine to play football again so I can't see much wrong with him continuing his career. Daley Blind played football on a top level just fine with an ICD in his heart. Edit: I wonder if Thomas Frank is gonna try changing tactics to a 3-4-1-2 with Eriksen as the CAM.

  19. Intelligent video and good perspectives on Eriksen. I believe he will play in a advanced role at Brentford. This is where he shines. I can see them play 3-4-1-2 and hopefully he will succeed. Love from Denmark.
