He’s a great ball playing CB alongside Romero whilst Dier is the last man. Underrated back 3
I've been so impressed with him, he's good on the ball, quick for a CB, he's agressive, anticipating well, good at tackles and throwing his body on the line time and time again. He's even a threat going forward. I wouldn't mind if he still starts next season to be honnest.
There's one word to sum up this guy's improvement – CONTE!

Now his turn up to new Verthongen
From watching this vid, it has changed my mind a little bit on Davies and I think we should keep him around next season if we playing 3 at the back & him being a LCB or be a cover. He seems confident & assured, and his blocks & interceptions have been good.
