Mixed feelings whoever comes in, big De Gea fan and he's been great for us… But Onana would be a fan favourite and, I think, definitely improve us.

Onana never felt out with Ten Hag, it was the direction of Ajax. There bond is great. I can only praise Onana from his Ajax time. Calm, cool and collective. Has great reflexes and his built up is insane. Would absolutely be a upgrade to De Gea. I mean, every time De Gea haas the ball i’m scared. Building up with De Gea is impossible, wich allows team to press and means it is impossible to build up proper.
I've never seen him play. But, if ETH wants him. In ETH I TRUST 💯🖖🏽🖖🏽
Crosses, Attitude and African tournaments are my concerns. Im with Steve, Costa would be ideal. But double the price.
Onana takes exactly what the opposition gives him, he doesn't force anything or overplay, teams are reluctant to press him because they know his ability to play off of either foot with accuracy is rare for most outfielders, let alone Goalkeepers.
You have to take the rough with smooth, if you want a goalkeeper to take part in the build up phases with the same quality as an outfielder then you have to accept that it is sometimes going to go tits up.

It’s so difficult to find a unicorn keeper that can do it all. United could sign a Nick Pope type who takes crosses for fun but then you lose the distribution. I’d also be curious to know Onana’s percentage of goals concede from crosses/corners, as ultimately that’s the stat that is most important. Not how many he claims, but how many goals are conceded because of it.
I believe Onana will join the club if we are to buy a new goalkeeper simply because of his old connection with ten Hag, otherwise the adjustment period for Costa won't be long if we do buy him because we have many Portuguese speakers in our squad and he can play a similar role to Onana in our team.
We need to start pulling the trigger on these deals. It's getting a bit silly being linked to several players and doing naff all about a it!

Stephen as much as I like your channel….nothing ever happens with United..literally every season everyone gets linked with United and each and every story gets milked and we get nothing out of it. Players like Gapko and Macallister join other teams with literally next to nothing hype and deals get finalized and here we take ages to even come up with a bid..all I read it observing this player or the other..transfers of united have become way too tiring let alone the takeover

According to Statman Dave he is great on crossovers, so much better than DeGea. He will be an instant fit and a huge upgrade in Ten Hags United.
He's brilliant, but the claiming from corners does seem like a problem in the stats. 2 players we haven't spoken about are Aston Villas Martinez GK and Ollie Watkins ST. If we can't get some of the other big boys and these are available they would definitely be an improvement on our starting 11. Martinez can definitely play with his feet with confidence and can come out and claim balls from corners. The only problem is I dread to think how much they would cost us as they are some of Villas top players. But when united come knocking surely the players would want to force a move into Champions League football.
