      I honestly don't see why we wouldn't be going for James Maddison, instead.
      He's the better player, he's cheaper, same position, extremely similar profile, he fills that English quota and we wouldn't be handing a rival a big chunk of cash to help their ffp problems.
      Not only that but we'd be hijacking a deal Spurs want to make, which would serve them right for holding Kane hostage.

      Mason Mount is a bang average player that will not get us closer to Man City. Walk away from the deal and sign what we NEED!

      Walk away utd. Ask Chelsea fans what they think of mount. The ones I've spoke to aren't crying about his departure. He's this years waste of money, we do it every season. Yes he's young, but can we guarantee any resale value when the player himself has refused all offers Chelsea have made to him. I'd leave him be. There's better out there at half the price. Unfortunately they'll be signed by clubs with good transfer acumen.

      I saw this coming… I find it kinda ironic that the Glazers were willing to walk away from this deal over what? A £7m difference but they won't sell the club because they want half a billion more to walk away for good. Literally tells you everything you need to know… They don’t give two shit's about Man Utd

      Adam,we’ve got to or EtH has got to show his strength on this and if we don’t we’re going to get our pants pulled down around our ankles and continue getting shafted by every other club!! I think this is a massive turning point that we can’t afford to get shafted on. We are United and we have to start behaving like that, and not the glazers puppets! Definitely play hard ball!!
      As for Fabrizio he’s just using us as clickbait at the moment imho!!       How/Why in the world would you pay over 45M for any player who’s contract is expiring!?(Kane,Rice,Mount)when they can wait it out & get 45-60M added to their salary if they sign the following year. Don’t give in to nonsense. Also why pay 50M for Onana when he signed for free from Ajax.

      If Mason was smart he would take a chelsea pay packet for a season and come for free next year.
      Chelsea owner Boehly and his Saudi co owners are greedy f'kers.
      Chelsea shouldnt be able to buy anyone this season because they spent double than most clubs last season and folk are telling me they made more than United and City last year even this year ?

      40 was to much. Utd need to wise up, stop getting there pance pulled down in the transfer windows. Should never have upped bid first place. Chelsea are the one need to unload players. Leave them with a unhappy mount and whatever ffp woes come there way. Sick of it. We should be signing like Brighton. Not spunking money on overpriced English players. Mount isnt even a upgrade. 60 mill for a squad player. Your eyes must be painted on.
