I actually like this signing. Gives John McGinn and Douglas Luiz some competition in that defensive midfield area and he really can strike from distance as well which is also something quite nice to have so overall a class midfielder and a brilliant signing. Welcome to Villa, Youri.

This is good for us. Very good. Forget what happened at Leicester. It wouldn't make sense to judge on that considering his decorated past. He has played 151 games for Leicester scoring 21 goals and 20 assists. His goal scoring or assists isn't his main feature. His long range shots are good. Tackling, defensive attributes are awesome, great passer of the ball and blocking. His heat map will be great under Unai Emery. Champions league for villa in two seasons maybe three UTV!!!!
