      He's not boring he can do 1 legged faders like Dirk, he can hit 3s with people draped on him, he has the most insane touch at shots around the basket, and don't get me started on his passing

      I appreciate how confounding Jokic is. The way he’s able to manipulate the game without athleticism is incredible. He will be able to play for years because his brain is his biggest asset

      Embiid not winning a title soon will be a problem for his legacy. And I get its tough when your competitors are Jokic/Giannis cause they will be all time greats, but if Embiid wants to stay in that group, he has to keep up, otherwise people will start thinking of him as a great second

      Kids who love to play basketball are already willing to learn those sudden passes, fast pivots in the Paint and general "nonchalant" look with high efficiency from all the Positions, I'm sure they see it as "pretty dope". Those swooshing and sweeping Dunks will remain the Style for "enforcers" and "bullies" who could not shine through lucid skill and intelligence IMO… Dunking is kinda Show for simps/casuals.

      Why? Jokic is waaaaaay ahead of Embiid, why do you keep downplaying Jokic. Jokic has 2 season MVP, 1finals MVP and a ring. The only fair comparison is Gianis and Jokic. both have 2 MVP, 1 finals MVP and both have 1 ring. You guys keep hyping the wrong dude to represent the NBA😅

      Embiid is a regular season guy. He plays harder than his opponents in the regular season because he wants the mvp. When he gets to the playoffs, defence gets tighter so he just plays like a pretty good center and that's it. Not MVP level, not someone who can carry his team to the finals. In his mind, he's an all-time great but that's just delusional. He's just a big that can shoot. He can be a good #2 or #3 in a championship team. Definitely not a #1.

      A casual might enjoy watching embiid more but any real hooper enjoys watching jokic more. Embiid is an iso scorer that typically either catches the ball behind the 3 point line and shoots or pump fake and drives to the basket/mid range pull up or posts up or pick and roll. Its honestly extremely boring basketball. Kind of like watching carmelo anthony back in the day. You knew melo was going to get the ball, do a couple jab steps, maybe a pump fake or two then shoot a contested jumper or drive to the hoop. Great scorers but not the most pleasing (or efficient) type of hooping.

      Also, people tried to say kids didnt want to play like steph back in the mid-2010s. It was always "kids want to be lebron" which is true…but most will never have that athleticism, even among nba guys. So kids believed they could be like steph if they worked hard enough. Its the same with jokic vs embiid, guys think they can play that type of game if they work hard enough.

      It doesn't matter if Jokic is boring or unorthodox because at the end of the day he has accomplished the objective. What good is style when you can't deliver the championship.

      I will never understand why the media downplays jokic just because he isn't some great defender. Yes he is not an elite rim protector, and yes he just like every other big gets beat on a perimeter switch against a guard. But when he is all time great on offense, and this style is highly successful, why is he getting points taken away? Magic johnson was NOT an elite defender, he was tall, and his offense made up for everything. The style was highly successful, so why does it matter? If this style gets wins, then why are you complaining? Some people just can't do everything, so do what you can at an elite level.

      Jokic didn’t win a title till after his MVP’s BTW, and when he got his closer Murray back, see Middleton not the same and Gianna’s out in round 1. Whose EMBIIDS closer? Ben Simmons, James Harden? The worst playoff performers of the last decade ??

      Sports commentary is not rocket surgery. Jay and Keyshawn are clowns. Joel Embid is no David Robinson and never will be. The most regular season games that Embid has ever played is 68. David Robinson played more than 68 games in 10 regular seasons. Robinson is a winner.

      Embid is a loser who blames his teammates for his lack of playoff success. Robinson was a winner who was available when his team needed him and was an exemplary teammate. Embid winning a single championship is not going to put him on the same level as either Robinson or Olajuwon.

      Anybody who has watched Denver play and thinks that Jokic and the Nuggets style is "boring" fundamentally does not understand the game of basketball. When LeBron decides to retire, ESPN should fire three sports "analysts" and replace them with LeBron. They could replace another three by hiring Chris Paul or Draymond Green. It should not be that hard to find actual basketball experts to hire as sports analysts. Quality over quantity – always.

      Bad takes all around, maybe just don't watch the Nuggets play anymore, because it's clear you all can't appreciate what they're doing. This reminds me of the Spurs back in the day, they did everything right, played beautiful basketball, and people would still count them out because they weren't exciting enough, it took staking multiple championships to finally get the respect they deserved.

      I’ve been in a debate for the last few years with my friends about who’s better, Embiid or Jokic. I’ve always been confident that Jokic is better and I root for the Sixers lol. Ever since the playoffs my friends are very very quiet lol

      He thinks Embiid having more SCORING skills (in a league that is little and allows flopping and traveling and carrying and offensivefouling) makes him one of the all time great big men… that's not how it works. Basketball greatness is NOT skills… it is accomplishments in playoff games, of which Embiid has ZERO
