  1. Jan is only the second pundit I’ve heard mention Pep’s evolution, especially from last season. I’m in an entirely different profession but it’s been inspirational.

  2. Like rats deserting a sinking ship. All very strange. It's as if the only thing keeping them around was a Champions League trophy because outside of that there seems to be very little connection/love/loyalty between these players and the club and its fans. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 wanting a new challenge, but this many players with potentially more to come, it's all very odd and one wonders if the players are looking to the Premier League investigation and saying they won't no part of that.

  3. Walker still has pace but for how long, he cant come inside to play in the box midfield hence why Pep doesnt fancy him. His off field issues also probably havent helped as Pep prefers his players to be on the back pages and not the front. He could do 2 years at Bayern then retire at Sheffield when hes 35

  4. Those ManCity fans who have actively followed 20/21 season of ManCity knows they must trust Pep & not the media who keep writing negative articles on City. All we heard from media in Dec 2020 when we were 9th in the league (just drew WBA 1-1) was "Pep should be sacked" , "Guardiola exposed" and bunch of other bs. Pep improved the defence and won the PL title in March along with reaching UCL final.

  5. Pep doesn't want to sell anyone. He loves his players. However if any player wants to leave for more playing time somewhere else then theyre always free to walk. Thats MCFC philosophy

  6. I don't think Pep will play 3-2-4-1 next season. It was not effective towards end of the season and teams started applying high press (+ man to man) and found some success as observed in FA cup final.
I wouldnt be surprised if Pep changes the formation in next season even though this season was a success.

  8. I’m totally amazed that Walker is 33. Anyone wants to bet that Mbappe and Vini Jr. won’t be able to match Walker’s speed at 28?

Ale’s Assessment is spot on. If 33 becomes an issue of Leeds, I’m pretty sure Walker is pretty happy not to be a stone starting XI but instead comes on at halves or even last 20 min when the right side or their own box needs shutting down. He’s sniper sharp at the job and i don’t think his age will be a factor in that respect for at least another season. I would like to see him stay put.

  9. I think he should go. As mush as I love pep but he said Kyle Walker couldn’t do what stones does in his position but then when he met Vinicius with real he relied on Kyle Walter’s speed, eliminated Madrid and then sent the guy back to the bench. I understand how the guy must’ve felt.

  10. Moreno is a schmuck. City will be fine after letting any player go. They have the best manager who ever lived.

  11. Strangely enough it's the players wanting to go and not the coach asking them to leave, for the past two years Guardiola has had to persuade gundogan and Bernardo silva to stay on the others I don't know much about

  12. Well said Yann about Walker and PEP strategies. Football is also business. This is a good time for city to sell. And open rooms for others
