  1. people need to realise football has moved on. players are now expensive. 40 million is no longer a large value. good players cost around 40-50 nowadays. average players cost a bit less and world class players now cost over 60.

  2. 40m is probably a bit too much for a keeper that has 1 year left on his contract. But I'd pay that at Utd if my only other option is Pickford.

  3. Only ESPN would turn "Would David Raya be a good signing for Tottenham" into a segment about Chelsea. Absolute dross.

  4. 40mil may be a lot for a goalkeeper but if it's a good fit then it's not a lot of money for a club like Tottenham and especially not Man United. Even if there is limited money to spend and multiple positions to fill.

Didn't really agree with Jules' Emi Martinez 20mil comparison tbh. When Emi was sold he wasn't considered the best and his stock wasn't that high. Also don't know what Gab was on about the contract extension at the end. Why would second player take that deal if he knows club wants to get rid of him? He'd run his contract down then..?

  5. I often think that Gab and Jules really don’t have nearly close to the knowledge they believe they do. It’s quite odd to watch 2 people who speak about things they clearly don’t know much about
