I don’t think anybody would’ve predicted the downfall of Trent this season. He looked like he’d fallen out of love with football. But that all changed when he was finally given the position change that fans have been crying out for since he made his debut.
He’s been back to his best at the end of the season. The Scouse Pirlo. Jamie Carragher even said that Klopp should build the team around him.
Do you think he’ll stay in the midfield next season or move back to right back?

He's my favourite player but the way he preformed mid season was a disappointment to me but it's good to see him getting his game back
He has been Liverpool's best player since the World Cup and has been MOTM in 10 games or so ever since. The only bad games he's had (individually) has been Brighton, Real Madrid at the Bernebau (the 1-0 loss) and Man City at the Etihad. In all 3 games the entire team was beyond shocking. There was clearly something very off before the World Cup because he was awful during that period, but ever since he cameback he's been phenomenal.
I've always said he's a world class player and is Liverpool's vessel and core. Liverpool's system flows through him, look what they've achieved at the back end of the season just because of him being n form, that's a player you build your whole team around. I could easily see him breaking the assist record next season, he literally had 7 assists in the last 10 games of the season and could've easily had more if not for Nunez missing some of his big chances. In fact, he could've ended the season on 15-16 assists and possibly got the Playmaker Award even in his worst season had he played with an inform Jota or Gakpo upfront during the 1st half of the season instead of Nunez.
Mind you, before the World Cup Trent still had the 3rd most big chances created and the 3rd highest expected assists in the ENTIRE league, but because of Nunez who was SHOCKING he ended up with 0 assists during that time.
Someone's lack of football knowledge shows if they don't rate TAA. He is a generational talent, a world class player and easily one of the best creators in world football. Getting 9 assists in the Premier League in your worst season playing around some of the worst midfielders in the entire league just shows levels. Imagine playing with the likes of Henderson, Elliot, Milner, Fabinho, and as good as he has been, Curtis Jones and STILL producing those sort of numbers? Now ask yourself what he could accomplish with competent midfielders around him? It's scary.
Good video but please don't compare Anfield Agenda to Rory Jennings, He is much better than Jennings and isn't an idiot unlike Rory Jennings
