Captain Erik Palmer-Brown, defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, and midfielder Gedion Zelalem all were a part of the 2015 U-20 squad that made a run to the World Cup quarterfinals only to fall to eventual champion Serbia in penalties. The trio bring that experience to the 2017 and look to lead the team deep into the competition in 2017.

Man, they were lucky to even get to the quarterfinals. Zack Steffen was the man for them, but they blew his saves during penalties.
