De ligt and kounde are two different profiles. Both are needed. I’ve noticed people are throwing kounde under the bus because de ligt is the most recent link. If we are linked with a new CB next week they’ll say that CB is better than de ligt. They can’t help but lie to themselves to justify the time chelsea is taking to sign players.

I get why ryan is keen on kimpembe but lets be honest he is not going to come cheaply and with so many other positions to fill, i think that would be foolish to spend that money on him, when there are cheaper alternatives. Plus we need to stop disrespecting the talent that have proving themselves, Colwill deserves an opportunity, have we not learned from Guehi or Tomori yet.
Don’t want any of these attackers we’re linked with. Go get Kounde and De Ligt to pair with Silva. Then next year we move to a back 4 with De Ligt and Kounde.
