  1. this is the first and the easiest pattern you might say………but it takes more than a year to actually master it….self body control….right foot work…hard blocking ect.

  3. I'm a little disappointed in his execution of this form. At least it does confirm the sequence of moves. For such a high ranking person, the technique leaves something to be desired.

  4. I have been in tae kwon do for 2 years I knew chon Ji and dan gun but then I got busy so I left my taekwondo class but I rejoined it I have forgotten chon ji and my exam is soon but I learned chon ji again from you

  5. the timing of the sequence is incorrect, with respect to block-counterattack, should be executed fast, you guys just make money from tuition fees but students do not get the essence of poomsae

  6. People in the comments trying to criticize, not realizing there is more than one way of doing things and different systems do things differently. Maybe get a little more knowledge and education about Martial Arts before you attempt to criticize a 6th Degree Black Belt on his Form.

  7. I'm sorry, but this is not traditional nor correct. All the stances are too wide, and not long enough, and his hip is way too forward, so his balance is not in the center. Also his shoulders are turning with the punches (and it shouldn't). The block should be as high as his shoulders are. Also niunja sogi isn't a correct one. The weight should be above the rear leg.

  8. Tried to do this from memory after a decade, and after watching this, realized I forgot the entire second half of the pattern with the forearm blocks and back stance lol.

  9. My feedback:
    – Great power and pace
    – Low blocks and middle blocks are stopped too short.
    – Middle punches are too high
    – Walking stance is too wide and too long on the punches (you're overreaching)
    – There's only a kiyap at the end of the pattern, and you shouldn't be saying the name. A kiyap is just a yell, not talking.
    – Hands should be touching at the beginning and end, and breathing control to finish (not done)
    – Pants should be white at a traditional TKD school, not black (black symbolizes death, and that you are no longer doing any physical training)
    – Non-punching hand needs to be held higher (middle punches should NOT be rising to the target, they should be straight or descending) Punching up = less power!

    Overall: 7.5/10
