      Listen to Kenneth Wolstenhome's commentary to German equalizer in 66 final. Wow, you would hardly know he was English. He was commentating on the sporting moment and not behind the flag – wouldn't happen now.

      And this is why people shouldn’t write the league off so early in the season… it’s football, anything can happen, that’s why we love the game… underdog advantage etc… beautiful…
      Also to note, Manchester City have made other teams up there game and that passes on… so when After a few seasons this is happening.., if city have an off day, then the underdogs (who have improved there football from being in a very good league) have a better chance of winning.
      It’s like chess… the better people you play, the more you will improve… if Brentford only played against league 2 teams, there team would never improve, they’d be the best already and so are unlikely to push themselves to be faster, stronger, And more agile with better stamina….
      So Man City etc and other clubs of past force other teams to ‘up there game’. This improving the league too…
      Man City are actually good for other teams improvement…. Madness
