With a big summer of matches ahead for the United States men’s national team, Gregg Berhalter’s side picked up two more wins in preparation during the March international window, beating Jamaica and Northern Ireland in friendlies. Former USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann joins Alejandro Moreno and Dan Thomas on ESPN FC to evaluate the team’s recent performances, highlighting the performances of star players like Christian Pulisic and Gio Reyna. Moreno explains why he was so impressed by recent U.S. commit Yunus Musah and examines how he fits into an attack that features players who all have different sets of skills.

Its nice to get the guys together for a couple matches but it's hard to take much more from it. Maybe after we get a few WC qualifiers down we'll have a better idea of what we have.
Greg Berhalter is out of his wits he has no pedigree to extract the most out of these players these days the next. generations are soft they need someone they can respect
America the new England. Hyping up their team and they ain't gonna win nothing
Berhalter needs to go please,
we could really take a next step forward if we got a better coach
Just need to developed a striker.
This team has talented guys
I don’t why my country usa 🇺🇸 is full of youngsters
Yes, but what does that mean for Acosta?
Acosta was horrible but the pitch was disrespectful.
Great showing so far but we still haven't seen this squad together or against high level talent.
Need Gregg to go, sorry and Klinsmann to come back
U23 f up today smh
PROUD OF MY USMNT BOYS
Fabulous wins recently just gotta keep the momentum up. Absolutely love this young generation of players.
Acosta and long should be long gone
Meanwhile the U.S u23s lost to Honduras lmao. Such an overrated organization.
If soccer were the most popular sport in the US from the beginning (late 1800s) and the US had a great soccer culture, academies, a great league, and players grew up learning how to play soccer the correct way, the US would have won 6-8 of the 21 World Cups
U-23 loses to Honduras. For those who get sensitive and label people “Eurosnobs”, understand that we are usually just people who are tired of things like this repeating like clockwork over and over It’s so predictable and if you’re against us calling that out…then you’re part of the problem
Why are they interviewing Klinsmann since he had a direct hand in the mental deconstruction of the USMNT? Well I guess this is DisnESPCCPN makes sense.
"Get away with 3 points in Northern Ireland" lol. Gotta love that gaffe.
thx to klismann telling them to go to europe n not stay in mls to grow.
Musah is impressive 👏 he's head and shoulders above Acosta.
The psychotic block optically rhyme because leg aditionally analyse pace a actually plywood. political, well-off expert
reyna needs to play in the middle and musah out wide i dont understand why berhalter keeps them they way he does
I think the team just needs to work on finishing they had too many chances and both games and can’t put it away bcuz of a pass with too much on it or a bad shot
An American soccer nation composed of mostly non americans. How ironic.
Accosts is garbage
I know people talking about Reyna a lot but Aaronson and Pulisic together look more dangerous. Both have elite speed.
USMNT cant afford picking the right players to fit a system. They just need to play all the best players they have.
Acosta is so bad man
The only way to use our best players is with this formation 4-3-2-1
Steffen
Robinson-Brooks-Richards-Dest
Musah-Adams-Mckennie
Reyna-Pulisic
Siebatecheu/Sargent
Please get this formation out there to the manager please
Klinsman gave USA the blue print, I wish klinsman had a better talent pool like this one.
Please come back JK!!!!!!
Ale is so right, just watching these kids take players on 1v1 is so pleasing. The US never really had players consistently even TRY to take players on. Great to see
If they keep with this 5-3 formation there won’t be room for Missy in the starting lineup…
Weah deserves attention as well. Wish Klinsmann was still our coach
