An intelligent point, well made.
Man UTD need more creativity when hiring players. Mount could be good for ETH plan, but Chelsea and other Eng teams will cause trouble to sell their players.
The problem is when a player signs for a big fee they are on a hiding to nothing. If they do well they don't get credit, if they don't meet the expectations then they get labelled a flop.
Mount isn't worth 8p never mind 80 million
With only one year one his deal, spending more than £40m is OBSCENE!
If we are spending that much can’t we just buy De Jong? Barcelona would snap our hands off and if he gets his deferred salary payment he will leave. Or we could sign Caicedo, who will have lower salary than Mount too.
We won`t be buying Mount for 80 million. He´ll be free in 12 months. Hence it´s not logical.
