Memphis Depay’s transfer from FC Barcelona to Atletico de Madrid for a reported fee of 3-4 million euros is a smart move for both clubs. Depay arrived at Barcelona as a free agent just 1 and a half years ago on the demands of coach Ronald Koeman, and his contract with the club was set to expire in June 2023. With this transfer, Barcelona is able to recoup some of the investment they made in the player while Atletico Madrid adds a proven goal-scorer to their squad. Depay will now join Diego Simeone’s team, where he will look to bring his talents and experience to help the team achieve further success.

We shouldn't have give Memphis just like that to our direct rival. Especially to Atletico de Madrid let take an example to David villa and Luis Suarez what happened when we sell those players to them they ended up winning the league for them. I understand that Memphis isn't doing great at Barcelona right now but if Memphis ended up going to Atletico de Madrid he will start playing very well because he will have more game time and also be motivated and gain more confidence. If we can remember Memphis Depay games at his first season in Barcelona his performance was great infact he was the main attacker for Barcelona So if he start playing very well for ATM he will be very dangerous and improve the Atletico de Madrid squad. In the second half of the season we will play against them again and Memphis will be there playing against us. the one thing I am scared of Memphis of is his speed and strength he is very strong physically so I do not want to meet them and lose against them in a very important match so I just want Barca to do the swap the deal. It is more better just like what xavi said if one player leave one player should come and replace him. So that the squad will not be weakened.
I am not happy with the deal.
I believe Depay signed until 2025 not 2028
I dont get why we cant go to dortmund and give them the 3-5 m for moukoko cause if he doesn’t sign he is leaving for free anyway

Memphis Depay is actually a very good player. It's just that Xavi doesn't like him for some reason. Athletico is not stupid for going after him. They know what they are doing. He is skilled, physically fit and experienced at the same time.

I can't believe this. We should stop talking to Athletico Madrid because we are a charity for them. The amount of bad business from Barcelona is outrageous.I can't believe we are strengthening a rival. Bad business from Barcelona again meanwhile real Madrid are selling their players for 10s if millions.
If we need a winger preferably in the left then Chelsea will have a fire sale so we should definitely look into that.
