      i reckon if we cannot get the more expensive targets, we should go for charlie taylor, maybe jamal lewis as looks like he's out of favour; would still like rico henry because i've actually seen him play but we'd probably get priced out.
      also longelo should be ahead of masuaku – hell, stuart pearce should have been ahead of masuaku

      Well it's official. Lingard can now count his cash while battling relegation with Forest, what a lack of ambition. At least we can now forget about him and hopefully Moysey will learn not to get fixated on certain players, and wasting windows.

      Raum would be the big ticket marquee signing and on a 4/5 year deal makes sense.

      My preference however would be Cornet – under 20 mil, did an amazing job for Burnley last season and was their best player by miles IMO.

      Great going forward and is quick, can cross, pass and actually shoot as well.

      I saw claims we were interested in him, EX even mentioned it along with a couple of other Burnley players.

      Think we’ve dropped the ball personally again like with Bissouma. Two young PL proven players for under 50 million…

      Can we get three? Play one at leftback, one at left wing and one up front?!?!
      Moyes is sodding USELESS in identifying and signing enough players, evidently!! May as well!!!

      Don't share your optimism Geo. This is west ham. I not so sure we will get a striker now. Monday you was confident broja was coming in. I said I am not so sure. I get the impression now that many of the supporters are getting restless and anxious. Same old story we are linked to everyone but nothing. How long have had to get a striker? Only 2 years or more. 58 years being a west ham supporter. Nothing changes. We are promised signings, now moyes says it's a frustrating window. Only for west ham. I wouldn't be surprised if we start the season again without a recognized striker. That includes Antonio.

      Respect ur views on Cresswell Geo m8 but in my eyes he's cooked now. He'll just be targeted even as a back up. Any bit of pace and it's a nightmare for Cressy. No sentiment bro, he's gotta go ⚒️

      David Moyes must know ,,well he does know, that we need or needed a new left back for a year or so ,-with,,Sullivan’s ,,,Monetary and negotiating teams , he’s had no chance of getting anybody

      Cresswell is also pretty handy as a left sided CB so it's not like he would pushed completely out of the team if we bought a LB.

      Unfortunately we cannot attract players imo from any league on par or above the championship. And certainly not without stupidity or consequences
      I hate to suggest it, because Moyes has proven himself a top half/ mid table premier League manager. Yet he doesn't seem to have the attraction. That factor that makes players want to come play under him.
      However I'm still not convinced it's not players laughing at our owners and saying, "yeah not on your life" but even then we're not buying OAPs looking for an injury claim

      Cresswell is a liability every game or many more games than he is dominant at the very least, defensively he gets targeted and it has been costly, its been happening for a while, i suggest we need 2 LBs in front of cresswell. sell masuaka and cresswell if at all poss, because failure to do this will cost us again this season.

      Totally agree that we need a LB that can come in and bench cresswell. He is a liability now and very much our weak point. Moyes needs to stop thinking he can play square pegs in these positions.
      He is kind of ruining some players potential by doing this. Fornals would play in goal if you asked him as he is a genuine team player but he is deployed LW to cover cresswell when he is clearly a CM. Johnson is another that will play wherever asked. Last season we also played Fredricks,Masuaku and Coufal at Lb at some point yet we had Longelo not able to get a look in? Moyes must get players for a specific position first and foremost. If they can also play in a second position – great – but prioritize.
      And Moyes isnt this magician that can transform a rb into a lb, that is mostly down to the player being able to do that.
      Damn, sorry for the rant but moyes needs to wake up

      Our first game is against Man City and we all know what they will do to us. So we shall start the season with negative goal diff and then get turned over by forest so here we go again back to the pressure of fighting relegation. Sorry to be negative but if we are all honest we have been poor and inconsistent all 2022, apart from one or two games, but the majority of games we have lacked something.

      I'd be ok with Kostic coming in but not as a left back. Rather have Johnson at left back as he's sound defensively with Kostic playing LW. He'd also be a good option at LWB when we play 3 at the back.

      As of today, it looks like Kodtic is coming in and he was CLASS for Frankfurt. He was one of their 3 jest players in their Europa league winning squad
