Away from the hustle and bustle of Glasgow in the Scottish Highlands, Ange Postecoglou has a special chat with Michael Bridges about the die-hard nature of Scottish football, how his day-to-day job affects fans’ days/months/years and why growing up with an unrivalled love for the game means nothing on the world stage if you come from Australia.

  1. oh come on do your research or basic geography. Celtic Park = east end of Glasgow. Lennoxtown = rural but suburban (and a welcome resource & facility) but a good 20 mins from glasgow. The Highlands? Jeez

  2. Got give the man some credit , managing Celtic or for that matter Rangers is one of the hardest manager jobs in world football . Your playing in a weak league and you are expected to do very well domestically ,fail at this level and your gone. Your never have the option of an open budget to recruit the best ,and if you did how many elite player would wish to play in a what is in reality a minor league. So you have to first find the diamonds in the rough at a bargain price and develop that talent ,just to know that the big clubs are going to swoop. Then your expected to compete against the best clubs in Europe , fully aware of your teams limitations , in both underdeveloped talent and experience at this level . Ange's next problem may be recruiting . Every player he may now consider will be a target for bigger clubs seems he has a good eye for talent. Celtic is a hard gig , The one thing it does provide for the club is the chance at a miracle , some thing clubs like Madrid have forgotten about , it expected there year in year out.

  3. The mighty highlands of lennoxtown ๐Ÿซค ๐Ÿ˜‚the guy interviewing with his face in a laptop ๐Ÿ˜ขwee bit of research wouldnโ€™t go a miss

  4. Classic English man, uneducated about their neighbouring countries ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ comparing Sunderland/Newcastle to Celtic/Rangers ffs

  5. The man exudes honesty and a down-to-earthness that has made us, the worldwide Glasgow Celtic supporters, really love him as a manager and as a MAN. He's easily one of the best managers, after Big Jock, that Celtic have been lucky to have guiding the mighty Glasgow Celtic F.C. towards one of the best styles of play that really encompasses the ethos of our very special club. Love to Ange & his Family, and thank-you, Big Man, for coming to Celtic! Pure respect to you and love to your family. all the very best (from Japan – ex-Scotland), G. xx
