Hi Chris, when I see these comparison charts of the big names compared to our lads, it tells me our lads ARE big names, just not it seems in some parts of planet punditry 🙂

I'd try squeeze barce as I don't think he has done well anywhere he has played yet.
with st Maximin leaving Torres would add a more direct running threat, Maxi and the criticism he gets is because he seldom if ever gets behind a defensive line.
Torres could be a low key type signing as would someone like Carlos alcaraz without depleting our budget.
we are likely sitting around a 100m budget excl sales, we got 25m for Shelvey and Wood, Maxi we probably get 30-35m for. We need a left back as Burn will need to be Botmans cover. Targett was a massive red flag for me last summer and Villa fans were right about him, inconsistent and unreliable.
we may need another younger right footed center back and we will need a DM.
