      Thanks for doing this, been a fan since the 06-07 season. This is why when I hear he’s just a goalscorer, I don’t buy it. His other under appreciated trait is clearing set pieces or corners. He started doing this a lot during the 10-11 season with mourinho.

      It is one of the reasons why Fergie was comfortable playing him anywhere in the attack. Even when he arrived at Madrid he said the he's comfortable anywhere. Obviously the best place is him as a winger but those two years where Tevez was there, all three kept interchanging position i.e there was not recognised number 9. As for him as a ten, it is not optimal in the long run as teams would close the spaces(a place where he is inconsistent in high level execution) and push him wide and also his height would not be used to great effect. He'd be easier to man-mark as well. Even Messi, whose skillset should fit him well as a 10, struggles in that position.

      By far, the most underrated playmaker of ALL TIME. Ronaldo has the most ASSISTS in UCL HISTORY. More than Messi, Iniesta and Xavi. More than Ozil and Neymar.
      CR7 led the EPL in ASSISTS (06/07) before Messi led La Liga in assists.
      CR7 has the 2nd most ASSISTS all time behind only Messi.
      CR7 = The real GOAT 👑🐐.

      It was his choice to play at CAM or not but he chose the difficult position by playing at LM and RM,then switching to a pure LW after that he even played the role of a second striker but afterwards he mostly played at ST.
      His passing and playmaking are so unorthodox and unique that is rarely seen by any player he can use different ways to make a same pass and his IQ is also pretty underrated.
      GOAT for many reasons ❤

      the reason why ronaldo’s playmaking is underrated is because he never had the chance to play with players with the same finishing as him leading having less assists than messi. Also messi had world class players around him with great finishing such us suarez neymar griezman eto’o ronaldinho and more others

      I'm speechless. I saw some clips here which I didn't see before. He can do long and short range passes, curved and straight, while running or in static, between the lines or aerial, creating half chances or full chances, one touch quick passing back and forth or passing after dribbling multipe players, right foot or left foot or head or shoulder or chest passes, he has done it all and his showmanship goes along with it like Ronaldinho along with the longevity and end product in assists including the highest quality tournaments' (UCL's) KO stages and with multiple league teams. He did as much playmaking as his position of LM and in later stages LW and then left inside forward and finally lone striker allowed and he didn't compromise with a lack of goals, all while playing through an incurable degeneration of knee tendons after 2014.

      If I had any doubt that he is the Greatest of All Time in this sport even if by the tiniest of margins compared to the other GOAT candidates with all due respect to them, it is gone now.

      He didn't have a great Portugal side while he was in his prime (with one WC happening right after his knee injury which his doctors advised him to be careful about) and yet still qualified and won tournaments which his country which he luckily or unluckily got born in,, struggled to qualify and win before. A tournament based on luck of country of birth should not be the deciding factor. It might be one factor but not the differentiating factor. He did have a great counterattacking and general playmaking moments for Portugal as well along with assists. Also, he had to be even more goal focussed for Portugal compromising his playmaking there for much of his career since Portugal did not have a great number of goalscorers and there was a period, he was contributing in both the areas as much as possible and in a more defensive counter attacking team, it was somewhat doable for him.

      Calling him the "underrated" playmaker of the century is an understatement.

      There’s a reason you feel the need to make a video to try to prove cr7 would make a good CAM. It’s because people often say he wouldn’t be a good CAM and they’re right.

      If you watch cr7 over 90 minuets and not highlights you would realise one of his biggest weaknesses is his ability to play with his back to goal (key attribute for a CAM). As in these situations you need spacial awareness to know what’s behind you which allows you to decide what to do with the ball before it gets to you, something he lacks.
