When will I get to see some players replaced, why do I still have to edure Dier at the back. Why do I have to keep watching Royale, we are relying on the same old crap. I will say it again, until we get rid, of certain players. Then we can forget about doing anything with this team. Under Poch we had a brilliant defence, Jan, Toby, Rose and Walker, thats what you need to be successful. We have to get rid of players like Dier, Davies, Sanchez, Royale, Doherty. I don't even think Sessegnon and Lenglet will be the answer, Persic is 33. Romero is the only decent centre back we have, when will play the big teams we concede too many goals. Its because we don't have a decent defence, I am sick and tired of the over rated Dier. Why do Managers not see, he is never going to be a natural Centre Back, he has too many mistakes in him. He is caught out of position so many times, it was his fault, we nearly lost against Marsaille. He left his marker and Royale had two at the back post. Its only that the ex Arsenal scum missed a sitter, we was ok. He has made a big mistake again today, you can't have these players, if you want to get to the top. Seriously does anyone think Dier, Davies, Royale, Lenglet, Sessegnon, Doherty and Sanchez. Would get anywhere near the starting 11 at, Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal, the answer is, no chance. So why do we think they are going to get us challenging. We have played United, Liverpool, Chelsea. Newcastle and Arsenal. We have conceded 2 or more in each of the games. That tells you, we are not good enough at the back. That is why Conte, has to play defensively, he must know we are weak. I just hope in the next couple of transfer windows, we concentrate on wing backs and centre backs.Why we let Reguilon go out on loan I will never know, he was brilliant going forward.

The refereeing this game (I say that because it's not just the ref's fault) was awful. I'm always critical and fair for both teams but the referee himself was braindead tonight until the magic sponge came in the last 10 minutes where he started using his eyes. VAR was entirely absent. Liverpool should have scored one more, Spurs should have scored 4 more. Final score should be 5-3 if the referee had any sense of basic understanding of what a foul is or the knowledge you are in fact allowed to play advantage, blow whistles for fouls and even award cards for reckless challenges.
Liverpool were robbed of the most blatant foul which they might have scored, Spurs were denied about 10 good chances but being spurs would only have taken half of them. Awful refereeing today from all aspects. Feel bad for him as what is VAR there for if it's just gonna sit there and make him look like an idiot? The referee that did the Spurs vs Newcastle game was SO good that he falsely made me believe the premier league started to care about football…

Game of two halves. Thought it was strange that Klopp who advocated 5 subs waited until 72 minutes to make changes when several players looked dead on their legs at 60. The game had well and truly swung by the time the subs came. I was waiting for Spurs to get tired, it never happend. Tough and welcome 3 points.
