Tom i think must also look for the Brasil player Jean Pyerre he is very good in thhe middle i promise you.
I also think Arsenal must sign Gabriel Menino or Lenon for right back and they must not sign Ryan Bertrand rather go for Romain Perraud he is in ligue 1 , he play like Alaba of Barcelona.

I think you could argue that so far there are 2 routes being discussed when it comes to that cm spot next to Partey. Either we go for a defensive option who lets Partey be more box to box (Bissouma) or a more attacking option to let Partey focus on being a 6 (Camavinga).

Zakaria is an interesting choice because he has the potential to be both in the same way Partey can be both, which means we have the opportunity to do something that isn't often seen in recent years, a double pivot where either cm can be the one who runs upfield to progress the ball with a dribble or become a passing option in the centre of the pitch seeing as we know Arteta likes his number 10's to drift wide. Personally, I like this style as you gain unpredictability in the middle of the park as the opposition can't be sure who is going to be making the runs from deep in the same way they can when you play an obvious 6 and 8 in a double pivot. That being said that big injury does worry me especially after our experience with Bellerin because we can't guarantee he won't stagnate at this level rather than pushing on and at 24 he is approaching the peak of his career and only has 2ish year where you would expect serious development from him.

Personally, right now I would agree with most people that Bissouma is currently the best option. He's 24 the same age as Zakaria and has only missed 8 games for Brighton through injury (All in the 18/19 season) plus I think he has more potential on the ball than his raw numbers suggest as he generally has good completion percentages and from watching a decent amount of Brighton this season he's very good at hitting teammates in wide areas something we know that Arteta loves to do and something we should be looking for if we are going to be dropping Xhaka to the bench. Also, I know everyone is saying it but, his prem experience is invaluable not only for himself but also because it means there should be no bedding in period and given that Partey will be 28 next season we don't want to waste the first 6 months of the season with him waiting for his partner to get up to speed.

Also, Camavinga would be a dream signing and I think Berge could be a good pick up alongside one of these other cm's to add depth especially if we do end up selling one of Elneny and Xhaka.
