Pefok, Sargent, Brooks, and Scally should be in the roster. If not Gregg is proving that he is more of a fraud
The other pure goal scorer after Pefok it is Daryl Dike.
US is 4pts ahead of Panama and 5 pts ahead of Costa Rica. If USA gets 2 points from 3 games (which would be terrible and almost unheard of), Costa Rica would need to win all 3 of their games (as if they get 7, they're tied with US but US is far ahead in goal difference). I don't see Costa Rica winning all 3 of their games. That would mean 2 points (horrible window) would almost certainly guarantee at leas a playoff place vs an Oceana team. A win against Panama at home basically guarantees qualifying. Still not a guarantee by ANY MEANS, but we should know the context

Bad management is keeping the USMNT from being competitive, period. Berhalter just isn't up to the task.

The move to FC Augsburg was never the right one for Pepi. FCA can't score and having a nine isolated alone doesn't help his game. We know why the move happened, there are MLS and FCA ties. Here in Germany, it's already being called a bust. He should have made a move to Belgium for less money.
