Before you criticize Lovren , Firmino also said the same thing .. so is he jinxing Liverpool as well ?. Go watch Copa90's interview with Lovren . Lovren is a cool bloke.
How is this even a conversation? He meant a blase comment that didn't mean anything. What I want to know is if there's actual statistical evidence to relate his post interview performances? I very much doubt that everytime he's done an interview it actually causes us to drop points or lose games. Can we please just stop hating on a player who is an excellent member of a squad who's top of the premier league? And this goes with Hendo, Lallana, Moreno etc. as well
I like lovren however I have no idea why he says these things. What he shouldve said is that 'city are the best team in England and they're still the most likely to win the league. We're over achieving and have to be real with ourselves city have shown that they are better than us but all we can do is our best'. Something like that to lump a load of pressure on city. Also Could be said that Chelsea are very much in the title race and so are tottneham who are playing amazingly and look like they will continue to do so. All of this stuff may or.may not be true but it places loads of pressure on these sides and reduces the pressure on us. There's a lot of psychology involved withfootball at the top level so maybe it would affect the players for these teams. I sincerely hope this doenst affect us cos I fucking wanna win the league soooooooo bad and this is our best shot we've had for a long time! Up the reds!
